For my family. Worked my way up to a solid/essential position, making decent money with room for raises/advancement, but the reason I am trying to "make it", is for them. By "making it", I have the modest goal of all property paid off, with at least $100K in the bank, so I can still work and provide for my family, without one unexpected expense utterly ruining us. It's a crime that so many decent humans have to live this week. Even with living morally, getting rid of as much debt as possible, so many of us are one "whoops" away from being rekt.
