Sure, they are in pizza language tho so here's a quick little translation:
-"I wish you lots of happiness and to always succeed in concluding your projects for your life.
You're a good boy and I really love you (friendly version of ily that excludes romantic feelings)
From grandma
Meanwhile the other is:
(Name),
You are the best brother what I could have possibly wish for.
Even if we sometimes fight I will always love you; (again, non romantic version)
When we play together I have so much fun I could die.
I love you! (for the third time, friendly version)

A shitty small bookmark I got for free at a bookstore years ago with the lame phrase "A book a day keeps reality away!" written on it.
I like it purely because it has a little clip that ensures it won't slip into the book and get my forgetful ass lost.
Each new book of mine I like to use as a bookmark a card from the deck of a GRE vocab set. That way, for each book, I learn at least one new word. It's the only reason why I know the meaning of the word "perfunctory"
If the deck isn't on hand, I use whatever bookmark was given to me by the cashier at the used book store I purchased it from
I have a stack of all sorts of small paper thingies I use as bookmarks like plane tickets, concert tickets etc. I leave them in the book once I'm finished. I usually take them out when I sell the book but sometimes I forget it. That's how they end up in your books.
Same here. Also if I find an interesting bookmark inside a book in a secondhand shop, I take it out and put it into the book I'm buying, to enrich my bookmark collection. I'm sure it's ethical.
I never stop reading a book in the middle of a chapter or without an identifying subtitle (for non-fiction) or what not (makes me uncomfortable). So, I just remember the chapter.
Mostly bookmarks from bookstores I visited and old pokemon cards. The weirdest one I have is one from the Ryan Reynolds green lantern movie, with a single film frame inside
My wiener, at least for The Phenomenology of Spirit

I just remember the page number, but make it easy on myself by reading to the end of the chapter before putting the book down.
Random chits

Either memorise the page number or use a torn strip of writing paper

Mostly bookmarks from bookstores I visited and old pokemon cards. The weirdest one I have is one from the Ryan Reynolds green lantern movie, with a single film frame inside
