i dont understand you people. what exaclty are you doing to your system that it fricks up so much? i've ruined plenty linux distros by fricking about with the configs, but i never had an update frick up everything.

Linux is only free if your time is worthless
Linux is easy and pleasant for many people but most will never need it and should go away. They should be gatekept, filtered and throatpunched.
The key teendumbfrick mistake is thinking the desktop matters. Use Windows or Mac on the desktop like an adult and Linux on the backend, for appliances etc and your problems vanish.
