No, its the kid who didn't share his pædophillia. The judge's problem is that that which he does not know he does not control and that which he does not control must be destroyed.

First of all how does knowledge equates to control? Knowing that earth orbits the sun does not give you any control over this fact whatsoever.
Second, what's there to know about kid? He has absolutely no mystery to him, he is as simple as they come.

    >Yet his complaint that a man's life is no bargain masks the actual case with him. Which is that men will not do as he wishes them to. Have never done, never will do.
He hates that others have free will and agency which prevents him from being the sole suzerain of the Earth. This is why he takes the idiot as his companion and frickhole: he is a man deprived of will, the only human being the Judge can tolerate.

The real question is what was The Kid's fricking problem. Or Prigozhin's, for that matter. Their fundamental flaw was being lukewarm, neither hot nor cold. Embracing neither evil and abandoning their moral compass completely, neither righteousness to oppose, even neutralize, evil when they had the chance. They were weak and simply left themselves ultimately be consumed by evil.

The part/plot line of that book I enjoyed the most was the part with the filibusters. From the start to the last mention of captain white

Even if the Judge was a real person in history, the one in BM is heavily mythologised. He wasn’t a human so we can’t really think of him in terms of having flaws or “something wrong” with him. He’s more like a wild legend or personification of eternal violence.
