You'll waste your time but you do you do
idiot
you should learn it first, it's simple enough and will get you to understand how to manage memory manually. later you can move on to other memory managed languages like Python.
you might have a prayer of writing python correctly
You'll have a much better foundation in technology.
Why C when you could become a Zigger?
https://ziglang.org/learn/getting-started/
You'll be a better programmer than 90% of nutech eunuchs. Remember UNIX is not eunuchs.
deal with computers once you're fine with algorithm
hence learn python and then c
each step at a time
Learn C, then learn python. If you can't into pointers then you'll be useless anyway. Pytroon is also full of nutechs and the worst software packages ever written.
You'll learn how the basics work and higher level languages will be a breeze.
No idea what is talking about.
It's a roundabout way of saying learning scheme.
you'll be stuck in the 20th century learning boomer technology
C is long outdated, learn C++ instead.
C++ is long outdated, learn C++11 instead.
C++11 is long outdated, learn Rust instead.
midwit Black person takes.

ww3.
jk.
divide to conquer, op
C is the most "difficult" parts of C++ or rust, only isolated.
and once you will learn the basics (which C actually is), learning oop and other abstractions will be easy.
learn to walk before you try running kind of deal.
dont waste too much time on it doe. once you master pointers, its time to move on.
unless you wanna get into CUDA or OpenCL. which are C but asynchronous.
if thats what you want, you will have to learn branchless programming in C. which isnt a tall order in itself, either. just an additional chapter you have to go through.
Just learn the basics and use chatgpt.
>what will happen if I learn c first instead of python
Picrel plus CS50 and you're set.
Legit one of the best books ever. King teaches programming and you learn C along the way.
You'll come to appreciate other languages and can easily pick them up. I learned C and C++ as my first language and every language after has been easy to learn.
Read this instead, it's so good.
why the frick is his book so fricking expensive. all his competitors are far less
which competitor .......also you ~~*pay*~~ for books ??
I got the pdf but I wanted to have the book on my shelf cause it's not bad. but frick paying near a hundred bucks for it. If it was local and used, I'd likely buy it. And even the used copies are fifty bucks on amazon.
cuz it's good
If nothing else you'll appreciate higher languages more
Nothing. All imperative languages are basically the same. It's not like learning a language takes any significant amount of time.
