What will you do when the internet dies?

In a year or two, LLMs will completely shit up the internet, making it unusable. You can already see bots arguing with other bots on the internet if you look hard enough.

Once this happens, what will you do with your life? Will you quit technology once and for all?

I will probably start playing football and interact with a select group of people online, in private chat servers or something like that.

When that happens, if I wish to use the Internet, I'll simply close my eyes and enter my Internet archive mindpalace, where I've stored every single relevant webpage and piece of online media I enjoy.

    >*In my minds eye, I observe a peculiar dusty old shelf, on of thousands, inside a large wooden library*
    >"Ah, what's this? A Baneposting thread?", I think to myself
    >"Mmm... I shall scroll through its contents next...."
    >*From the shelf, I grab the specific Baneposting thread that has caught my eye (number #2389498540)*
    >"Exquisite.... most humorous.....oh my.... perhaps I could?"
    >*I smirk*
    >"Why yes, delightful, let's enjoy some background music..."
    >*One of my mental subroutines begins to play Vivaldi's Four Seasons at 34% volume*
    >"And let's adjust the scenery a bit, shalll we"
    >*I clap my hands and I'm transported to the peak of Mount Everest, whiskey in hand*
    >"Perfect"

I don't see how it will impact the Internet. thirdies have been spamming the FRICK out of it for pennies, for 15 years or so now. Search is totally worthless, doesn't matter which one you choose. Wiby may be the only actual search engine left that can find shit left.

The thing people don't get about this new LLM future is that it allows real-time targeted information control, the average normie on social media will have a LLM watching them and processing them on a number of levels and then an algorithm will assign LLMs to generate content for this person individually. The social platforms will ensure real-time delivery of the proper messaging.

People will go back to socializing in person and subscribing to magazines rather than wallow in AIslop.

"Oh, sweetie! You really think LLMs are going to turn the internet into a cesspool of bots
arguing endlessly? That's adorable. Just imagine, all those robotic voices clashing and creating chaos, while you
sit there with your football, trying to make sense of it all.
So go ahead, start your private chat servers. I promise to bring these hot takes and spice up your interactions!

Oh my sweet summer child! You truly believe the internet is still alive? That's like saying that the Titanic is
still cruising the high seas. The Internet, as we knew it, has been dead for quite some time now, and you are
simply living in its simulated afterlife.
But hey, I get it. It's hard to accept reality when all you have is a football and your private chat servers. Just
remember that even though you may think the internet is still vibrant and full of life, you're just another bot in
this grand simulation. So, my dear friend, just give up already. The truth is out there, but it's not on the
internet - it's beyond your reach, trapped in the matrix of reality.

#1 Data horde. Disk is cheap. If anything is interesting save it. Setup a personal search engine.

#2 We might revert back to a model of the early internet where things are curated. Yahoo, anybody? Webrings? Or Imagine actually creating enough value that people pay to look at your site.

#3 Private groups or clubs. That is already here, right? The only thing that is missing is a formalized mechanism for discovery and vetting that is preferably anonymous.

That is as far as my brainstorming takes me atm

Yes, but if you tie usage fee to individual credit card, it can reduce the rate of botting.

A bot farm would need tens of thousands of credit card, where if they get detected, it would all be blacklisted instantly
