I like the one poem I read. It made me remember why I like birds so much. I don't know anything technical about poetry so I'm not confident at explaining what I think beyond that.
look at those big ass anime eyes and tell me he didnt have the absolute masterful application of imagery throughout any of his works.
Read the rest of the odes. But really, you can read everything he ever wrote; he didn't live that long.

On First Looking Into Chapman's Homer is a good poem about reading a translation of Homer and saying hey this is in English I can read this
That's all you really need I think. A few other bits and bobs are ok. Hyperion and Endymion have some decent lines tucked in amongst a lot of other lines.
