Literally took in the Spanish American War, decided we didn't want it. Kept the Gitmo naval base tho.

Then the communists took over, did a half-hearted attack to take it back at Bay of Pigs, backed off because of diplomatic reasons, not for lack of military capabilities.

There's no such thing as "stealing" when it comes to history. Civilizations take things from other civilizations all of the time. Ideas are not property.

well there is such a thing as stealing. its relevant that no country can steal chinas type of social credit or genocide of minorities, and stuff like silk used to be an execution worthy trade secret. but as soon as the lids pulled, its fair game.

Silk is a real material asset in the real world. The knowledge to build a U.S. fighter jet, however, is not a real material asset. Therefore, like you said, it's fair game.

            >whose propaganda? are you saying china doesnt genocide uighurs? they are, but i have no problem with that since theyre muslims
It's literally U.S. propaganda. The is no holocaust being committed on the Uighurs.

Maybe you could argue for a "cultural genocide" but even that is a stretch. How would you define a "cultural genocide".

To give you an example, I'm a Vietnamese American and can't speak Vietnamese that well or at all. The U.S. government doesn't give us funds to protect our language and culture. So is the U.S. government genociding Vietnamese people? A right-winger would argue that I'm simply assimilating into U.S. culture while an extreme leftist would say a "cultural genocide" is happening to Vietnamese people.

Once you apply this to the Uighurs and the Han, you start to realize how stupid "cultural genocide" is.

theyre putting them into camps/prisons for mere suspicion. id consider it cultural genocide, and even biological genocide since males are being split from their families, some of old age imprisoned have been locked up past their biological age limit, some young men are imprisoned long enough that their lives will be over when released, unable to make enough money to start a family, and uighur women are financially forced to marry han males.

all this i have no issue with, and i think its based. i hope god emperor trump copies the chinese and does the same to blacks, mexicans, and muslims. this is the reason i like china.

China is moronic and thinks they're clever for putting the Wiggers in camps, but trash is trash no matter where in the world it is and no matter what guise it takes.

China was the economic center of the world when Rome was emptying the silver in its treasury for silk. China was the cultural center of the world during the Tang. It was pretty important during the middle ages, and the world was in awe of the Mongol Empire and Yuan China. The future will be interesting to watch, especially since China was supposed to collapse for 50 years now because reasons.

Both true my silly illiterate friend
Emperor Tiberius complained about Rome's silver disappearing for Chinese goods because of spendthrift nobles. You can read about it yourself. It was a serious problem.

Tang China was a cultural peak in the world, with some of China's best masterpiece poems produced. The closet contemporary competitor was Carolingian France. Have you read Charlemagne's court poets? I have, in the original Latin, and it's pretty clear why no one bothered to translate them.

Did you read the sources for India's economy then? Protip: You can't because India didn't keep historical records due to its religion (go ahead and try to google them). They were made up for that chart. In fact much of what we know about medieval India was due to Chinese record keeping.

China's record keeping preserved its own though. Han was by the record, the verifiable economic center of the world.

            Keep coping.
