Pretty accurate, the problem with cutting edge is that shit breaks all the time, especially in an OS that shares libraries rather than isolates them (I may be wrong on this but I remember Linux doing something moronic like this).
So you could have it as a daily driver but it will take up all your free time when something like the audio suddenly breaks and you have to spend two days fixing it.
Basically, like many things IQfy likes, it’s only applicable to:
- Students who have near unlimited free time.
- NEETs who have near unlimited free time.
- Third worlders who constantly complain about bloat, because they are angry the modern world doesn’t cater to their fisher price 1.8 GHz computer from 15 years ago.
- Autists who assume “Tedious busywork = skill”.
For anyone outside of that range, use an “it just werks” OS, Ubuntu or Mint give you the benefits without the ball ache, more so if you use Windows and just use Linux when you need to (ie coding or some shit) via WSL or at worse Hyper V.
I went from Windows to Ubuntu, and now I'm going from Ubuntu to Android... replacing my desktop and laptops for tablet only, it's really what the future holds in my eyes, the perfect form factor and convenience. Hopefully it's as good as I'm thinking it will be for general use.
Thanks! I hope it works out too, it could totally backfire and be awful, a good chance actually, I know, but I'm willing to take the risk since if this does work it could be very comfy and convenient.
When I bought a new laptop with Poop!_OS preinstalled. It was great.

I was so embarrassed for ubongobongo after watching this, probably not gonna use it again tbh.
I installed kubuntu yesterday and it doesn't boot, fricking piece of shit.
Also my experience with Ubuntu, they break it too often and it does too much stupid shit.
Wen I came back to Debian, the white man's distribution of the Linux operating system
Based. Ubuntu is normie slopware. Arch is a meme for no lifers. Debian / Devuan just works while still being minimal and free.
I use OpenMEME Ilikeweed. It works fine for what I do. The only con I can find is that make by homosexual germans.
archinstall is literally easier than Ubuntu install unironically.
lmao homie got filtered by buttons
yeah because they don't fricking work half the time, shit lags.
archinstall doesn't work for me most of the times
I mean the whole 5 times I tried to use it
it was in its early days so that could be the reason
This is true

>windows 10 + wsl ubuntu
what more do you need
not too long ago, but I'm glad I did
>git clone something
>make
>Error: your entire toolchain is out of date
you are trying to compile shit software

The last thing you want to do when you are old is to get lazy, it's open door for dementia. Better start early. Stick to Arch man.

cute, I hope it works out for you
