    it doesnt exist. all it takes is for the calculations to be slightly out.

      Cosmology is not science.

    is this "Dark Energy" in the room with us now?

    what does dark energy mean? like "dark" photons or smth?

      Repulsive force that makes the universe expand faster.
      >what is it actually
      We just don't know.

        Dark matter/energy is just the gravitational field

        The universe isn't expanding, the energy transfer within the electromagnetic field is not 100% just like with everything else

        how do scientists differentiate dark matter from dark energy?

          DM = clumpy*, attractive
          DE = uniform, repulsive

          *less clumpy than visible matter tho

            interesting. so like dark matter has gravitational effects on normal matter?
            also no dark matter black holes possible? how would we know any blackhole we see is dark matter blackhole or normal matter blackhole?

            In the standard scenario it is just some unknown species of matter, with the same gravitational interaction. It's surprising how just adding mass without pressure matches cosmological data so well.

            Dark matter coukd be captured by black holes. It's unlikely that DM alone could form black holes, because without cooking and pressure it cannot collapse to dense objects (in the particle scenario). If there were black holes made out of DM they wouldn't be any different to normal ones.

            so basically any blackhole can have an unknown mix of the two?

      In relativity, the geometry of the universe is determined by its energy content. The universe is rapidly expanding at an accelerating rate. Working backwards from the observation to the energy density you need suggests a metric frickton more energy than we currently know about just estimating all the particle interactions.

    > That shit should be everywhere!
    It is. However Dark Energy is incredibly weak, so weak that is only on the scale of the universe that it amounts to anything measurable.

    As far Dark Matter, assuming it is particles, then it's called 'dark' because it does not interact with light or the electromagnetic force. That means it does not collide with normal matter or clump up like that does. It's a diffuse gas that surrounds the galaxy. So while there may be a few dark matter particles around you right now because they don't interact with anything we can't measure them either.

      But isnt that how all science is done?

      >Hey guys, I looked at all the stuff I know and I think tje answer is 2.
      >Well I just measured it and its 3.
      >Damn, I guess I missed something.
      Why is that bad?

    It's horseshit, its data pulled out of asses. Nevermind the fact that we only know visible Universe so every number we put on what Universe is made of is a fairy tale at best (it doesn't have to be same everywhere), but vomiting these numbers without knowing shit about dark matter and energy is just embarrasing.

    The green part (atomic matter) is 99.9% strong interaction. You understand that, right anon?

    It's an error in the model, not a real thing, it means the model simply doesn't work. Also, relativity has already been disproven by modern Sagnac experiments. It's embarrassing that the establishment is still holding onto this model.

    Dark matter will be a whole new table of particles that only interact with us gravitationally. No EM, Strong, or weak coupling at all. It will have its own set of fundamental forces.
