Where do I start with Christianity?

Where do I start with Christianity? I recently had a spiritual awakening, and I believe God revealed himself to me through Jesus Christ. I don't know what else to do, is reading the scripture enough or do I have to join a Church?

I only know that Jesus was real, and he was who he said he was. I know literally nothing else since I was never religious in the first place meaning I wasn't indoctrinated into religion, and was agnostic about God's existence.

The Gospel of Mark is always a good place to start. Version? King James Version is generally a solid version. But for a beginner, you can rely on the NKJV for a more modern delivery. But the KJV use of language offers up the most subtle nuance and poetic delivery. I would also suggest the Orthodox Study Bible too, which I should get around to reading as well just for the additional content it has (while not critical, still good to know).

Literally just jump right in and let God work his magic. You'll be astounded how well it all falls into place, if you've really had the experience you claim to then God will guide your journey, just let him work through you and always be on the lookout for signs and always be reflecting on how you can apply God's word in your daily life. Do this and you'll be fine no matter what. you may find yourself in conflict with others and confused on some things but that's ok, God knows your personal journey and walk with you along the way, others will be at different places so they may not understand your mindset, but God does.

You had a schizophrenic autist revelation.
If you lived in the star wars universe you would now be required to be institutionalized and study the ways of Kek.. I mean Yoda, in order to not be a nuisance and danger to society.
But instead, in the real world, you are now trapped to a screen in search of even more unhinged autist takes, because you know deep down that only the supreme autist could have THE answer.

This path is what you will you need to follow, which is how you will develop a relationship with God, the goal being union with God:
    >There are three basic stages of the spiritual life (holiness), called the Purgative, Illuminative, and Unitive Ways. One passes from the lowest (purgative) to the highest (unitive) along a spectrum.

Well, since you confessed to being a gnostic cultist: you should take the discussion somewhere else - this is offtopic here.
Also, take care of yourself and do as suggests.
If, and only if, psychologist/psychiatrist deems you healthy enough, do as

Anon, you must be some kind of schizo for reading agnostic as "a gnostic"

Two different meanings entirely. I think you should see a psychologist, and make sure you're healthy enough to understand words.

Start with reading the gospels first though. Then continue on to Acts or go back to the Old Testament. The Old Testament is very dry, so I wouldn't suggest starting from Genesis and reading it like a normal book, but the Old Testament does hold important information and is worth reading.

Yes, you should attend church to assist your spiritual growth. Shop around and try to find one that fits you well. While I am Protestant and would suggest something like Lutheranism or Methodism, you should still check out the Roman Catholic Church. You can try the Orthodox Church as well too, but the way they treat icons smacks of idolatry to me. I understand their theological stance on the matter, but it feels too much like they're splitting hairs for me.

my advice is still solid if you just want to start as it is more straight to the point and is the shortest Gospel. But for dogma, you can always recite The Apostles Creed. But to clarify, that the "catholic Church" does not mean the Roman Catholics. The Orthodox are Catholics too if you want to split hairs. It is God's church, and we are united under that.

As I said, the best thing you can do is talk to a priest, tell him that you don't know much about the catholic church. He will guide you on your journey about the church. Meanwhile you can read the Bible if you want to, but tbh the ebst thing you can do is talk to a priest. Also attend to masses, even if you don't know the responses, the mass is based on the most important parts of the Bible so that will also guide you on what's the catholic church about.
I don't think it makes much sense to start reading the suma or something like that for now. Start simple and humble, and enjoy. Welcome back brother.

Read the Bible and pray, then reread it, then find a church where the pastor preaches in a way that lines up with what you've read, then keep rereading and studying the Bible. When in doubt read the Bible and pray.

is the basic rundown. All the major denominations of Christianity profess it. I would suggest downloading the Youversion Bible app and starting up a Bible plan/devotional for beginners, preferably with a focus on the Gospels since Jesus is most important and they're less dry than other parts of the Bible.

    >I just don't feel ready to jump into it unless there's a nice, neatly organized chart with books/media/stuff I gotta read or watch so I don't feel out of the loop.
There's this thing called the Bible that Christians treat as the sole infallible canon word of the creator of the universe. You know how books work, right? You start at the first page. Then you read it, get it? After you're done with that, you move onto the second page. Repeat the process until you've read the entire book. Alternatively, if that's too difficult, or through your reading journey you suddenly start having misgivings about the moral character of this god creature or the veracity of any of the book's claims and that scares you - especially if you actually started at the beginning with the Old Testament - ask around and pick a local denomination whose rules and morals you personally like. They'll be more than happy to tell you what the important texts are, which passages are literal, which ones are metaphorical, which infallible and timeless moral laws are outdated and which are not, and exactly what you need to do and think to get a clean slate by putting all your past crimes onto a supposedly innocent person through a blood sacrifice ritual, so you can receive an infinite life in eternal happy happy land.

Oh, and if you happen to come up against anyone whose interpretation of the infallible holy word conflicts with your own personal preferences - or the preferences of your chosen denomination if you prefer to defer to the authority of the clergy - you can rest assured that they're all misguided but well-meaning believers, or potentially even fake Christians out to deceive you.

Not the guy who started this thread, but I'm reading the Old Testament right now (currently I'm up to Deutronomy), and it's a sleeping pill. Even the interesting and terrible stuff is written so dryly that it glazes over the eyes, and that isn't getting into the genealogy, census stuff, or being told how to construct the stuff to worship God in exacting detail what feels like three times.
