Whether you agree with them or not, who was the most chad philosopher? I’m guessing probably one of the stoics but maybe I’m wrong.

No.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baruch_Spinoza
Nevertheless, after he was branded as a heretic, Spinoza's clashes with authority became more pronounced. For example, questioned by two members of his synagogue, Spinoza apparently responded that God has a body and nothing in scripture says otherwise.[54] He was later attacked on the steps of the synagogue by a knife-wielding assailant shouting "Heretic!" He was apparently quite shaken by this attack and for years kept (and wore) his torn cloak, unmended, as a souvenir.[54]
single handedly makes israelites and Christians seethe. I'm thinking based
this does seem very based, but is it chad?
Definitely not chad. You have a point.
>Gets offered 1200 pounds a year to write whatever he wants and denies it because he does not want his thoughts tied to patronage of any sort
>Gets offered 1200 pounds a year to write whatever he wants if he doesn't publish anything. He rejects this too.
>Continues to cut glass until dying of an illness probably related to literally being on the grindset for so long.
I'm thinking he's fricking Based.

Who?
Nietzsche and Stirner
Nietzsche spent too much time whining and worrying about what others thought to be “chad”, and Stirner was (obviously) too selfish. I take what’s mine =/= I take what I want.
You’ve just eliminated every philosopher. Congratulations, now get out.
Again I’m pretty sure that at least the stoics were clearly about NOT complaining all the time.
Reddit likes him because “epic funny meme philosopher plucks the chicken” but he would probably burn their funko pop collection to the ground given the chance.
Which is why we’ve eliminated them from consideration. Talking about stuff is what philosophers do. Again. If that’s your criteria, we’re done before we started.
If we go back to the original definition, the answer is as given already
>Naww dude, they’re too chad to be chads. They talk about stuff
Eat shit
Nietzsche and Stirner were both the philosophy equivalents of “internet tough guys”. Neither of them put what they said into practice, and Nietzsche crying about how “weak” others were while being a literal cripple really is too rich for my taste.
You try living with IBS
a real übermensch would have overcome his physical weaknesses. i don’t think basing an entire philosophy off of unattenuated pride is very chad.
>A real chad would just will his physical affliction away. Only a cuck would actually deal with it.
Listen to yourself
>people are weak because they need to believe in things!
>ooohh noooo my tumny hurts!
>neetzuh
>chad
>Anonymous is hopelessly in love Elisabeth
Nazis. Your idea of this “Chad” is a simple automaton soldier
realistically speaking, Camus, he was probably the only philosopher to have sex regularly, but since his ideas are so stupid he can barely even be called a philosopher id say Seneca or Epictetus
Diogenes and it's not even close
I don’t want to agree with this but you might be on to something. The real deciding factor will be if he was ever yoked or not.
reddit philosopher
Socrates was a war hero, married and had plenty of kids. Plato was a nickname meaning "broad" because of his broad shoulders from his days of wrestling. Pythagoras was an olympic boxing champion. Diogenes mogged Alexander the great.
Socrates. I'm surprised almost no one mentioned him. He was the stoic before the stoics.
This guy gets it
>According to Diogenes Laërtius, when Plato gave the tongue-in-cheek definition of man as "featherless bipeds," Diogenes plucked a chicken and brought it into Plato's Academy, saying, "Behold! I've brought you a man," and so the Academy added "with broad flat nails" to the definition. Diogenes Laërtius also relates a number of more bawdy tales whereby Diogenes would spit, urinate on people, break wind, and jerk off in public.
You're confusing being a chad with being utterly shameless and apathetic. Bums aren't chads and never will be.
Being a philosopher in general isn't chad
Jesus Christ
Giordano Bruno. Burned at the stake in 1600 for not shutting up about the ayylmaos or something, idr, ironically.
>historical monument to an ancient heretic
I was about to ask when it became socially acceptable to erect such a thing, but then it occurred to me that the answer might be on the plaque (1889, perhaps).
