Honestly, by now it's just a topic that some use to attack the Catholics, usually when talks of union between East and West are brought up.
The sack was unsanctioned by the Pope, and was partaken by knights who had previously been threatened with excommunication. Even Pope John Paul II had apologised for the entire event on their behalf, which the current Patriarch of Constantinople had accepted.
Catholics and Protestants seethe at each other roughly equally

More like they just don't interact too mach. I live in majority orthodox country and most protestants here are either not visible due to them living in their small communes or being members of outright cults

I mean it has to be Protestants seething about the prostitute of Babylon in Rome, right? I've had multiple protestants tell me that the pope is the "antichrist in waiting" and he's going to usher in a one-world religion at the start of the apocalypse. Of course I also live in the United States, so I may very well be biased.
Both Orthodox and Protestant churches have different denominations, so every people and country has different opinions about stuff.
For example the Russians obsess and b***h about the West 24/7 while for Romanians, Bulgarians and Greeks this is a non-issue.

I'm Romanian so I live in a mostly Orthodox place. There's a lot of Catholics too, and like, they're wrong, but I don't really mind them.
As for protestants, they've been propping up lately and they scare me, they're weird.
In my slice of Clapistan Protestants seethe the most, aimed overwhelmingly at Catholics. Catholics seethe back at Protestants though to a lesser degree, they are a bit more insular. No one cares about Orthodox because they are irrelevant and tiny minorities.
That said both Protestants and Catholics MOSTLY seethe at others within their own communities, Protestants at the 70 gorillion denominations with tons of them going full moron like prosperity preachers and that flavor of Southern Baptist where the idea of religiosity just seems to exist to justify the pre-existing unfounded egotism and desire to be cruel, while Catholics have a pro-pope/anti-pope seethe-off that consumes them.
At the istitutional level? Probably orthodox at catholics, but mostly just because they're the only ones that still care about theology.
At the popular level? Protestants at catholics (especially bongs) fairly easily, you don't get rid of centuries of 99% political propaganda that easily.
Catholics (both clergy and people) on the other hand are too busy seething at their internal divisions to care about anyone else.
Guess that means Catholicism is the true church. Btw, Orthodox laity seethe at Catholicism too. But their priests and theologians and monks truly won’t stfu about Rome, it’s sad.
