They shouldn’t. A preacher should have a salary not to exceed a middle class life in his area. Everything above that which the church gets from tithes should go to improving the church, paying its staff reasonable wages, never to exceed the same middle class level as the preacher. Everything left over from that should go to charity. Televangelists like Kenneth Copeland will go to hell if they don’t repent. Their standard as teachers is much higher than the average person’s and they’ll pay for leading people astray in the next life. In this life, I fully promote the idea that he should be torn down and returned to rags, if possible. No one should give him a cent and the people giving him anything should be pulled away from it.

Because we as a nation have largely blinded ourselves to the fact that we're getting grifted, lied to, and robbed from every direction. If you're already getting tricked on one front, youve probably already drink the Kool aid and getting robbed by the church too isn't anything new.
