Europeans, South Asians, Africans, MENAS, Mongoloids all have various amounts of paleolithic abbo ancestry.

Europe doesn't get as much UV radiation so the pressures against fairer colors are lessened, letting them spread more easily

A combination of uv and sea salt bleaches hair, you can tell by that man's roots

          >A combination of uv and sea salt bleaches hair, you can tell by that man's roots

He's a Pygmy, they live inland. As for Melanesians and Australian Aboriginals, only Melanesians have universal access to sea salt bleaching the hair, and it wouldn't affect them genetically.

Some of the pygmies live close enough to the ocean, and the ones inland look like this.

If that was the case, the Hausa and other Chadic speaking West Africans would have blonde hair rates.

            Explain Melanesians and Australian Aboriginals.

            [...]
Recessive mutations have been selected against in most areas. In Africa for example, only a few select Pygmies have naturally blonde hair, and it's exceedingly rare, often confused for a specific type of malnutrition which bleaches the hair.

            Are these Mbuti?

my question is why cant humans have cool multicolored hair patterns like dogs and cats

      Anonymous

Because people selectively breed dogs to reinforce certain traits and humans reproduce a lot slower than other animals.

We do. Ever wonder why so many white people have brown or black hair with reddish to red beards? Or why some people regardless of race have black or dark brown scalp and eyebrow hair, but brown beard and body hair?

They are not rare. Lighter colors kind of are but other characteristic like texture, shape, diameter all vary widely.

Melanesians have a different blond hair gene than Europeans

  9. 2 years ago

Low melanin production is only advantageous in areas that get a little sun. In cases such as the Inuit in North America, it's more of a problem of a limited gene pool not allowing for blond hair to appear.
