the real question is why apps are hard locked to a vertain version of UI instead of relying on operating system to supply it with stable and predictable interface which would supply the 99% of basic UI features any app needs: so when you would run old app on a new system, all its ui elements would look the same as rest of the system.
but to be fair not even pay2win systems like mac or windows can do this, least the freetards behind gnome/gtk who have hardcore notInventedHere syndrome and completely frick up whole framework every tuesday just for the sake of "innovation". i still remember when they said right mouse clicks are racist and globally disabled right click into context menu.
we ended in a world where devs would rather implement javascript sandbox so they can program ui as a website and draw it with like 500ms delay inside sandboxed chrome instead of trying to deal with native OS libraries to draw window with 3 buttons.
because foss sucks
nooo I MUST UPDOOOOOOOOT AAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE
rofl
and yet gnome somehow manages to be more aesthetically appealing than all other linux DEs
i finally found him, the person who likes gnome 3. i didn't think you existed
He's 'bussy himself
Is he the one the prophecy foretold of?
I just burned a disk few weeks ago, works fine, not sure what's your problem.
What's wrong here exactly?
Gnome CSD headerbar shit is always gonna look outdated no matter how much they change the theme to make it look flatter.
The word 'outdated' is only applicable when you are using old version while a newer version available.
FOSS apps do not need frequent updates because they are stable and quality.
Frequent updates is a sign of fragile software.
I disagree.
explain why???
>outdated
Black person windows 11 as a whole is just reskinned vista
vista is reskinned longhorn
actually vista was rebased on the 2003 codebase, so it's more of a 2003 reskin than a longhorn reskin
>windows 11 as a whole is just reskinned vista
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Display_Driver_Model
microsoft stopped doing anything since 2007 pretty much. goes for both windows and office
>gparted
>2023
>outdated
what are you smoking anon
becaues FOSS sucks. nobody good is working for a potential donation.
>a potential donation
which gets promptly funneled to BLM activists

The Dead FOSS theory?
>wintard can't install a theme
of course
>please tinker and fix, dont just take screenshots
No.
>installing a theme is "tinkering" or "fixing"
