Why are they so blatantly lying? Do they just not know better or is this some kind of psyop?

Why are they so blatantly lying? Do they just not know better or is this some kind of psyop? Last time I checked linux had like 3-4 million league players. To actually think only 800 out of 150 million players play on linux must be a massive cope. Total league death btw

Remind me again why Riot needs super-invasive DRM for their DotA and CS ripoffs when Valve is doing fine with the old and busted VAC
        >b-but CS2 and TF2 are infested with bots!?
Yeah and they still get hundreds of thousands of players every day so clearly the bots are not THAT big a deal for the playerbase

CS2 doesn't even use VAC anymore. They're experimenting at the moment (it's not great) but yeah, it's clearly not that big a deal. I am glad that Valve are continuing to support Linux as well

Honestly I'd rather having bots and/or cheaters in some of my games instead of installing a kernel level malware. Bots are just minor inconveniences. Valve could do a bit better with this bot situation but it's still playable. Games are not supposed to be competitive, they're supposed to be relaxing. Only homosexuals get so mad at cheaters that they'd rather having chink malware on their PCs.

The only real reason cheating is even a major problem is because of the zoomer obsessions with matchmaking and ranked play. In ye olde days you would just get the cheating homosexual kicked from the server or, failing that, switch to a different server.

The goyim will kindly install the rootkit on his computer anyways so why bother?
Riot games has people (subhumans) who play league of legends by their balls, they don't give a frick.

Cheaters don't reduce the player count because every popular multiplayer game is filled to the brim with aimbot and ESP users, or worse. Some games like GTA Online allow cheaters to manipulate game state in pretty much arbitrary ways and crash players to the desktop. And in games like Dayz a cheater can undo hundreds of hours of progress by finding secret stashes with ESP.
If there were two similar games but one has good anticheat and the other one doesn't, the one with cheaters will lose every time.
But there is no alternative other than switching to console. The only reason I haven't switched to console is I don't want to use a controller and also I don't want to pay a monthly fee to play online, that's bullshit.

KEK according to who? That is 100% bullshit.
Its definitely more than 800 but there is no chance that it's any more than 20k.
Gamers, especially LoL gamers are completely brain rotted and by and large do NOT use linux.

Almost every popular game has around 1-3% linux users. 3 million sounds like a lot but it's really just 2% of the total active playerbase. Why would league only have 0.0005% and other games not?

No, that stat comes from Steam, saying 1-3% of Steam users are on Linux
It doesn't say what game they're playing or if they're playing a game at all

They'd rather rootkit your PC, please understand they won't ever use that for anything other than detecting cheaters ofc. Trust the plan.

since 2010 these games make most of their revenue on selling either the game itself or cosmetic microtransactions to cheating chinks
selling a game only one time per player and then maintaining the game indefinitely is a losing strategy that most big studios have moved away from

Vanguard won't do shit against cheaters. Not that it matters anyway because there are almost no cheaters in league and the current detection system works fine. Vanguard only exist to spy on people and sell the data.

You are confusing cheaters with smurfs. Smurfs are in every game, cheaters are in every 10000th game. Vanguard won't do shit against smurfs either.

I know personally like 10 of my friends who run Linux and play League.

Bow down, losers. My friend group is a healthy 1.25% of the ENTIRE League linux user base.

A user who is otherwise full Linux but dual boots only for League will never be counted. To the blind stat counters of course this is a Windows user!
