Why chritians care so much about body if they believe soul is immortal, and body is temporary, vessel.

Why chritians care so much about body if they believe soul is immortal, and body is temporary, vessel. Why making nice and expensive? If I die I want my body thrown into trash I don't give a frick. All christians should think like that. What's some writers who think similar?

What? In the traditional view, if you mistreat your body, you go to hell. So it's clearly not just a temporary vessel in Christianity. In fact, that's just a vulgar materialist view of things.

Because they use religion as a cope and don't even read their own book. Bunch materialistic bug homosexuals

      Ecclesiastes 4:1
      >Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed-- and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors-- and they have no comforter.
      Ecclesiastes 4:2
      >And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive.
      Ecclesiastes 4:3
      >But better than both is the one who has never been born, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.

The body is not trash. In heaven it will be restored, in the Orthodox view. When we talk abut the passions of the flesh, we are talking about the worldly desires of the body. Carnal desires. We must tame the body and orient his works away from worldly things towards submission to the spiritual needs we hunger for. To a life of communion and sacraments. This view of the bodies restoration I think is unique to Orthodoxy. But I am not entirely sure.

        Weak moronation
Some people are dead in their soul, yet alive in their body. That doesn't mean the body is bad. If a driver is dead in his car, does it mean the car is bad and worthless?
About never being born. It is also better to never drive, if you are gonna kill 10 pedestrians. Does it mean the car is bad?
Why are anti-christian polemics so weak.

You're weak willed homosexual who is too much in love with material goods, money and sensual bodily pleasure, a hylic under veil. Vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What else this vanity world can offer you if you have God, the infinite and eternal? You're too weak to face the real trial of Being. Move to a desert or else just accept your weakness and hypocrisy.

Probably because it used to be that your body would literally be resurrected when God established his rule on this Earth.

Because in their belief they will be resurrected on Earth during Judgment Day with they actual, mortal bodies.

the Christian worldview equates the persona non grata, I.E your worldly thoughts and personality as equivalent with your soul. this is where Christianity is completely different than platonism
so when you die and go to the afterlife, this includes whatever material experiences, thoughts, and actions that you harbored. this may sound slightly like Buddhism or platonism, but since there is no transmigration or reincarnation in Christianity you basically only get one life

It is still a sin --for catholics-- to mistreat your body because of reincarnation. I don't know what kind of weird catholicism US people follow, but that's part of early traditional catholic education (things that are teached to you before "your" --"the"-- first communion).

The only "christians" who hate the body are protestant people, and that is because it is the ultimate bugmen religion.

our bodies are a temple, the way we revere and treat our bodies is a reflection of the condition of our souls
