    >IQfy was founded by its target demographic (millennial nerd)
    >Now under military control with a boomer sockpuppet who probably hates more than 3/4 of the website if not all
I'm really curious what the organizational structure of IQfy is as a whole. Who would want to keep the lights on here?

I don't really understand what I'm supposed to take away from this article since it's full of so many inaccuracies and editorializations that it basically can't be trusted at all.
You should have at least included the paragraph that answers anon's question for clarity, even though it's self-evident that IQfy is used for datamining so I'm not even sure why he questioned that in the first place.

Moot was too incompetent to do anything of value with this website, even for his own personal gain

I suppose that IQfy makes some money on /misc/ and IQfy. It's a basic PHP website where the hosted content is routinely purged as threads 404 - it can't be that expensive to run. Moot used to run it from his room and that was when it had much more traffic than now.
That's also why in the past few years, increasing steps have been taken to reduce posting frequency. Less bandwidth, easier moderation, more time for chuddies to look at ads because they're not tech savvy enough to install an adblocker. + All the phone posters for whom adblockers aren't really an option.
I would imagine that the banner ads paid for by scammers to sell shit coins pay for IQfy's hosting + margins alone.

He is a businessman. Moot is not. Moot is probably in his own little cave in the dark corners of the google campus, crying on how he sold away his dream and is now a part of a soulless company that pretended to show interest in his abilities, but would never offer him a heightened role due to his association and interaction with a site full of degenerates.

Hiro created 2ch, turned it into a profit stream, left. He scooped up IQfy to repeat the same process.

IQfy has never made a profit in its entire existence. here's a bonus bit of info:

hiro and his business partners are currently spending hundreds of thousands of dollars -per year- defending themselves in the state of new york's prosecution of platforms that allowed mass shooters to shitpost. when it's over the bills will be in the tens of millions of dollars. you dumb frick Black person monkeys don't even comprehend how bad things have got.

hiro is possibly the dumbest fricking jap to have ever ventured out of japan. hiro only bought IQfy for pol because he thought it would be profitable. it's costing him millions instead.

I think about making an imageboard with certain differences aimed at improving discussion and moderation every single day, but unless I win the lottery and can afford a 24/7 team of paid mods to let me live my life without CONSTANTLY worrying about making sure that pizza isn't on my website, it's not a very appealing idea.
I suspect that most sane people would also agree with me, and that the people who would be willing to take those risks are a bit crazy and probably wouldn't make for good imageboard owners.

Same. Only viable alternative I can think of is a mostly-text board, maybe give your paypigs image posting permissions since you could report them via credit card details for posting cp.

          Anonymous

I'd still be scared and constantly thinking "what if they post links to it?", "what if the paypigs paid with stoken cards?", "what if they're in a country that wouldn't investigate/prosecute them?", etc.

Plus the hardest part of the whole ordeal is getting enough users to make it worth it. A text board appeals to fewer people than an imageboard, making it even more difficult to gain a substantial userbase.
This problem can also be alleviated with money.

I wouldnt even modify the format
just a IQfy clone that bans the third world

and for formerly white countries that have experienced high immigration Id require registration where its still outwardly anonymous but you cant post on a new IP for a few days
ie you register and a few days later you can post, if you get banned you need to get a new ip, register again, and wait another few days to post again
this latter rule would apply to canada, maybe the US as well (or certain regions within the US)

Don't let them post anything sexual. Zero tolerance for behavior that even hints at being horny. I'm completely serious. If you know, you know. If you don't, you probably wouldn't understand and are the problem.
