I still use OnePlus 7 Pro, because it has better designed screen than even in new phones. There is others like Xiaomi and Zenphone. Even newer OnePlus phones are now unusable iPhone tier trash.
This.
Yes, pop-up cameras are a physical security. And that's why they're just better in every single way.
People don't care that much about the notch or dots. Or at least not enough to switch brands.
another part that can easily break i guess
also now if you want to take good photos of yourself with the back camera you can just get a flip/folding phone
>another part that can easily break i guess
dont normies change phone every year anyways?
Some certainly do, but most don't. Two years is a more common timeline because that is the typical length of a carrier contract however, that doesn't mean that everyone does that either. Most normies I find buy a new phone when the screen gets cracked or the battery starts to give out. Unless they are your poor b***hes who break their phones and can't afford a new iPhone and they refuse to buy anything else because "muh blue bubbles" and "androids are for poors" even though they are the ones who would benefit from buying a budget phone.

gee I wonder why
you are right anon, best have these apps and website take stealth pictures of you without knowing something is up.
also why the frick does your browser have camera permission?
if you ask me, that sounds like a feature. you know, like the LED on laptop cams.
More mechanical parts = greater probability that a component could fail.
Phones get obsolete before any failure occurs
I still have this one. It was so unsuccessful that they gave it away with a new TV purchase. I got it new for 150 euros from someone who got it along with a TV. It was 800 Euros when it came out.
Seems liek people really don't care but I am waiting for a contender
I guess low effort quality images and a phone brand with prestige is more important to normies than easy panoramas and taking pictures of things without looking like you're taking pictures of things.
I prefer invisible punch holes
the whole point of having a flip camera is
1) no camera staring at your face whenever you use your phone
2) great quality selfies
Yeah, it's a great concept, except for the durability of the mechanism
I've had one for like 2,5 years and mine is still ok.
But I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of selfies.
Other than that, spareparts are available online
>invisible
>the lower pixel density area is clearly visible
What did they mean by this
I want a phone without cameras.
still using my 9t pro from 2019 and the front camera works fine
then again I use the front camera maybe once a year
maybe it's too cumbersome to make
I don't like the under the display cam too. Its fricking garbage might as well don't put any selfie camera
>solves a non problem
>introduces 3 new points of failure
Yeah I wonder
Because it's not Apple
just have a border to the phone jesus christ i can live with a 2 milimiter border on my phone
