Why didn't God warn us about potential damage to the Ozone layer?

Why didn't God warn us about potential damage to the Ozone layer? Why would God create the Earth as a place for his creations to reside and make the one thing protecting it from outside radiation so fragile? Seems like kind of a huge oversight does it not?

We're the ones who decided to destroy the planet, and in this instance, we actually took responsibility. The ozone layer is regenerating as we speak. As long as nothing unexpected comes up, it'll be fully healed by the end of the decade.

The Ozone Hole is natural, and contracts and expands in cyclical intervals. We just happened to start observing it while it was expanding. The banning of freon was a corporate ploy by DuPont, because its patent on it was expiring.

DuPon't's patent was just about to expire, and suddenly, the Ozone Hole will kill us all unless we adopt policies the benefit DuPont. Nevermind the fact that the Ozone hole just in the 2010s had one of it's largest diameters on record, and then re-contracted! That's just a fallacy.

Yes, because the effects of chemicals in the atmosphere was still lingering. You cannot fake decades of measuremenmts by TOMS satellites anon

The banning of CFC's actually preceded the "discovery" of the Ozone Hole at all, by many years. The decision was made based entirely on scaremongering by DuPont (again, right before their patent was up). Secondly, where the hell did you even get that graph? The first TOMs didn't go up until 1978.
Hell, the largest ozone hole was in 2006. So apparently CFC's have a habit of causing cyclical closing and opening decades after they stopped being in use. Funny how that works. It's really great that the political class and Big Business is here to protect and care for the little guy...

Oh and the Ozone hole wasn't officially detected until 1985. Charitably, you could say 1981, but that's really the earliest.

I'm Christian, and this was my response:

We're the ones who decided to destroy the planet, and in this instance, we actually took responsibility. The ozone layer is regenerating as we speak. As long as nothing unexpected comes up, it'll be fully healed by the end of the decade.

Nature is a lot more resilient than we give it credit for, and as long as it isn't abused too much it can bounce back surprisingly quickly. Humanity chooses to ignore clear warning signs and continue to pursue destruction because radically changing the way we live would be hard and uncomfortable. God gave man dominion over the Earth, so it's our choice whether to wreck it or not.

Reminder that you and I are not allowed to freely explore Antarctica and every single country on the world agrees to it. You will be stopped by force if you even get close. There are guided tours where they take you too an island off the coast but that's it.

    >Why didn't God warn us about potential damage to the Ozone layer?
I'm an atheist, but wouldn't the holes in the ozone layer forming directly over the least populated parts of the earth in time for humans to wean themselves off of the chemicals that were destroying it and let it fix itself a warning?
