Why do people on IQfy complain about open source contributors despite not contributing to open source themselves? The examples people post are non-issues and the people being complained about have been a net-positive on the projects the contribute to.
For the same reason I critique commercial software I will never pay for: you're still a stupid homosexual and you deserve to feel bad about it.
What's the use case for this thread?
Is it really unreasonable to ask for clarification on a feature request? If the use case isn't clear, you clarify it. That's standard procedure.
>If the use case isn't clear, you clarify it.
Some things are obvious enough not to require explaining, or are so trivial that implementing/merging them is a non-issue.
You can't assume something is obvious over the internet, much less when autism is involved (as is often the case with tech communities). Also, it's always good to have documentation for something since it may be harder to understand why something got merged in the distant future.
But I do contribute to open source

thanks for doing gods work, sar
It's nocoders that hang out on youtube 24/7 where they watch angry sometimescoders. They whine about X11 but refuse to develop X12. They whine about Gnome when there are many other great desktops around. They talk about how the Linux community is ruined, awful or whatever but have never been to a conference. They talk about how "modern software devs don't know shit" yet they run discord """servers""" where accessing a chat requires 500M of RAM.
Lots of IQfy seethe in various different forms and shapes is just people who can't make themselves useful or creative complaining about the people who actually do stuff.
If you think about it, there's nothing more cucked than a whining anon.
He is sentenced to observe and consume what others do, even if it causes him to impotently rage.
An unwilling, eternal cuck if you will.
Kinda like what you’re doing right now?
Hit the nerve, huh
I did very little, but at least have something of my own in my field to show so I'm good
Do you
cause stallman is a homosexual
I think a better question would be why do open source devs seemingly expect every user who points out flaws with their software to become a dev?
Why should people have to learn a language to point out that something sucks dick?
If you put something out there, is it free of criticism because it's free?
Why do people behind iron curtain complained about communism and lack of everything despite not contributing to make products in the shops available?
You'd be suprised how petty things can get
I made a PR that fixed an obvious bug that users were complaining about. Random buttholes just complained about it not addressing potential future bugs that don't exist. Then it never got reviewed by the project maintainer so it just sits in the PR queue forever.
It's never Too Late to make your own Fork
Was this thread needed?
cute

I can't cook for shit, but if I go to a restaurant and their meal tastes like shit, I'm still gonna call them out on it
This jak edit fails to capture the Ebussy essence. It has no usecase.
what is the use case for being a colossal homosexual?
