Why do morons keep trying to claim that America "didnt lose" the Vietnam War despite the fact America couldn't make it past the 17th Parallel and that a unified Vietnam is an independent nation?

>Chang got so mad over the Korean War thread that he made his own cope thread
Because the Vietnamese now cook our pho, bake our sandwiches, brew our coffee, dress our women's hair, manicure our women's nails, produce our overpriced shoes, sew our clothing, and build our children's toys.
You mean the offspring of the cowardly KEKED anti-communist Vietnamese. The ones who watched America douse their entire home in liquid flame, rape their children and women, and said it was fine and hopped on a boat? They aren't Vietnamese, they're worms and dogs.
>They weren't real communist
North Vietnam was and modern Vietnam is. The Vietnamese who do your nails and brew your coffee are dogs.
I can 100% guarantee you are a pasty white dude
İ am Türkish
>Roach LARPing as a Vietnamese revolutionary
That's not any better
>America couldn't make it past the 17th Parallel
It’s not that they couldn’t make it, they just didn’t want to cross it. The US didn’t want China to get involved.
>China successfully deters the enemy from making a move that would be very beneficial for the enemy
>"I just didn't want to do it."
And then they immediately botched it by invading Vietnam in 1979
They couldn't have invaded Vietnam if it was an American puppet state instead so looks good to me
>Getting invaded by your former patrons for trying to remove a guy that killed people for wearing glasses is actually Le good
Never said it was good for the Vietnamoids, metapolitical success for China though (until they job militarily)
>metapolitical success for China though
>Literally lost any good will they earned from the Vietnamese and failed to stop them for occupying Cambodia
Fricking up the invasion is a separate issue from the political maneuvering until then
>Political maneuvering
Yeah I wonder how that's going
?
60 000 vs 5 million dead
>War is about muh K:D ratios instead of achieving strategic goale
Yes, life is more precious than death
moron it was a civil war not USA vs vietnam the souf lost like 300k+
A lot of people seem to have a difficult time comprehending that a military force can perform well in the field and still lose a war. So discussion of Vietnam tends to be “US got bro by peasant rice farmers lol pathetic” or “they totally didn’t lose look how many people they killed before retreating”. American forces kicked a lot of ass, but the war was still lost due to lack of support and will to continue.

America was never at war with North Vietnam dullard.
