Why don't you join the winning side anon?
Aren't you tired of always fighting against the winners?
GNOME and Red Hat control Linux and there is nothing you can do to stop them so you should join them instead.

>winning
What's the prize?
>winning
>What's the prize?
Ouch, Not in the head anon, let's keep the funeral viable
A usable system.
>linux
>usable
Pick one, Ivan
Linux is the only system you can pick two, Sirjeet.
>Windows
>macOS
>ChromeOS
Nice cope, lintoddler
>windows & macos
>usable
lmao
>chromos
powered by linux
running a system that's worse than windows
Not file picker thumbnails.
>not having compact view
>needing tweak tools for basic settings
>needing extensions for basic shell components
We just can't stop winning, Gnome sisters!
>winning side
It already won.
Influence on hobbyists alternatives.
>can't tile windows into corners
>can't change position of taskbar
>developers use fricking macs 99% of the time
>no thumbnail view in filepicker dialog
>500 pixel high titlebars
>awful workspace functionality
Your DE or WM of choice will be deprecated by Redhat which will control the kernel once they get rid of Linus and pay Greg a big sum of money.
You will use GNOME in the future, you have no choice.
>Greg
Who's Grug?
use fricking macs 99% of the time
or wsl on windows. either way, redhat wins, because one developer who doesn't use ubuntu = 1 rhel loicense for the server. thats the intention behind not just gnome 3 but also killing x windows because ssh -X was the biggest reason to use linux on the desktop
>a fricking foot
>there is nothing you can do to stop them
I don't have to do anything to stop them but wait. Shit that gets too big and monolithic collapse upon themselves unless they manage to create a monopoly to sustain a parasitic existence, something impossible in the FOSS sphere. Everything is forkable.
valve controls the linux now
Valve is yet another Redhat puppet.
If Red Hat and IBM have that much in resources to fight Microsoft and prevent PC gaming from becoming yet another Xbox prison I'm all for it.
>prevent PC gaming from becoming yet another Xbox prison
valve doesn't want pc gaming to be xbox but asshat does because asshat wants linux to only run on servers and appliances
I don't know what it's winning. It's my only choice if I want to have the least amount of issues while using linux for a particular reason but I won't pretend I don't hate using extensions and I don't hate it without them.
not my problem
I get a lot of pleasure when fighting against all ods
I guess I'm a boomer because I just don't understand GNOME 3.
Just use i3 and don't even think about it lol
You will soon enough once Redhat forces every Distro to drop X11 from their repos.
I use i3
While it is still annoying having to sage, report, and hide Jay's 18th Gnome bait thread before noon, it is refreshing that he's picked a new hobbyhorse besides machomosexualry. Good on ya Jay!
By your own logic you should refuse to use anything but Windows, and therefore you're a filthy hypocrite. Also, YWNBAW
>Why don't you join the winning side anon?
But I did?
Ok Saruman
i use cinnamon anon
