There are two different versions of TikTok. One is a subservisive psyop intended to destroy the West with degeneracy, and the other is intended to be beneficial for Chinese children

It wouldn't have gone global if Vines wasn't killed off for no apparent reason.

Different use cases. Vine only allowed videos of something like 7 seconds in length. People upload entire episodes of TV shows on TikTok split into like 4 parts

Tesla Inc was named after the early electrical innovator Nikola Tesla, but the founders - Eberhard, Tarpenning, Wright, Musk, and Straubel, are obviously not named Tesla.

Chinese knock-offs of western tech giants basically only survived because they didn't let the tech giants in. If they actually had to compete on level ground they would all lose. Tiktok on the other hand is something they were first to the punch with. It also gives the state a lot of soft-power (alibaba etc don't)

Taobao, alipay, and wechat have actually expanded way past China into many parts of Asia. Some of the other lesser known ones like tantan are also used in Asia. The only reason white people know about tiktok is that the other apps don't provide a platform for western prostitutes to seek attention from men
