Interesting. This is the opinion held by most people who are actually educated here, a very very small minority. I include myself in that group, I'm pretty afraid can happen after he steps in the Constitution, especially with whoever will be next. Everyone knows it will be one of his family members. The government's important political positions are 90% led by actual family of this guy.

This is why a benevolent king is the ideal form of government. Monarchical succession solves the problem of a power vacuum and unclear succession once the benevolent dictator passes away. Humans have known this for thousands of years, and this was normal until the French Revolution.

The USA will fund the drug cartels and they will come back to El Salvador.

Pretty much explains why he doesn't receive a CIA anal pounding for all the good he does. Total western corporate takeover. Still, he is ridiculously based for throwing all their stupid fricking Black folk into stadium sized prisons with bare minimum. Imagine if America actually used their overreaching anti-terrorism legislation and applied it toward terrorizing gangs. It would be the 80s all over again.

You can't flush toilet paper in El Salvador. The US remains superior.

it's a very safe place to live in however, i think most of you will miss your third world luxuries, While in el salvador there's still corruption amongst the police. They will scare and bother you if they know you're a foreigner in area, some check points are mandator but sometimes they will stop you for a little thing (car parked imperfectly, they have suspicion of you cause they literally don't know you) .
Water being shut off at certain times of the day. If you live in the capital you'll still be paying the same amount of money you probably do in the USA to rent and live in, it's basically the equivalent of any major city in the US, but prices of mc donalds and shit like that still the same lol, street food has a possibility of making you sick and getting scammed by doctors (YES THERE IS A LOT)
Also about the women here, they're good women it's just that they're bigger if not same amount of prostitutedom as in any other, it's smartphone that ruins women realistically and every women here has one...

so if you come here thinking it's a paradise it's not, it's a nice vacation spot i reguarly go to and live in sometimes BUT i personally wouldn't live here unless i wanna do the innawoods thing which it's very good for that since the land you buy is pretty much yours to do whatever the frick you want to do. will recommend it for innawoods anons out there.

Also if you're a clean freak I DO NO RECCOMEND, i'm a dirty mf willing to get his hands dirty and i think this place is unclean as frick(unless you live in capital).

Thanks for honest review. All that being said, the 0% taxes thing there makes it attractive to buy a home there even if it’s used as a sexond home I could potentially rent out. Do you have a residence permit there? I have a Spanish passport and I’ve read that with that I can get a permanent residence permit after one year there

Most i've lived there for was a couple of months but i visit a lot. My favorite part about the country are the race tracks hey have set up on the mountains if you like tuning cars and shit this will be the perfect place to just rip open your car and ride on the mountain sides, HOWEVER some places are putting speed cameras and getting a ticket here is annoying as shit (you don't have to pay it if you leave but will gain interest over time) .
Honestly unless you're starting a business over here taxes don't matter literally all tax on everything is cheap as shit mostly housing and you could easily just not pay taxes on regular shit. HOWEVER if you own a business you will have to be 100% official and pay heavy taxes otherwise you will be sent to jail, unless you have connections with like a major or something like that. also renting here isn't worth it the house over here are like 50k-150k and rental income is 50-250 and 250 is considered expensive for a good ass 2 story house that would be in a main center where all the shopping and shit are. My uncle has a real estate business and you need like MULTIPLE houses to make good money, 5-20 ideally.

ALSO not sure if you guys care or not but el Salvador is 100% starting to get owned by the CCP. pics i took when i visited the capital, personally i don't care but it's something notable lots of chinese influence is recently coming take huwai stores and such might buy some next time i go.

Didn't you JUST SAY renting was as expensive there as America??

Ah right my mistake in most places that are not the capital yes thats how much it would cost. If you buy something in capital it's gonna cost just about as much as here in the US tbh. rent is about the same typically around 800+.
you really don't wanna live in anything isn't the capital though, it's a shit hole nice to visit not to live in.

Yeah I was just about to correct you there. The prices you mention for rent apply to anything that's NOT San Salvador or Antiguo Cuscatlán.

I live in SS and pay 450$ rent for a one-story 3-bedroom house because I'm poor and have made bad financial decisions in the past. And this is actually considered pretty decent, as everything that matters is up here.

This same house would easily be 150-225$ anywhere else, and less the more you move away from the mentioned places.

      >American goes south of the border, expects government to function like it did north of the border. Crashes into reality.
      >many such cases!

I lived in Sonora running an outfitting/guide business for a while and I made damn sure the local police got their beaks wet. The guero casadore made sure they had a good Christmas, their commandante got the booze he liked on his birthday, and any extra meat went to them. And you know what? I had zero fricking problems.

Unfortunately most of biz is made up of autists who think "networking" is something only computers do and go into vapor lock at a social routine that isn't pre scripted. If you can't make friends, stay north of the border. Trust me.

You're 100% right, didn't mention it but i have family over there who run big businesses and shit so i know all about this mostly thats the reason i get out of shit honestly, Funnily enough you mentioned meat and we run a butchering business and the cops love their fricking meat good advice.
        >Unfortunately most of biz is made up of autists who think "networking" is something only computers do and go into vapor lock at a social routine that isn't pre scripted. If you can't make friends, stay north of the border. Trust me.

OH NO WHY ARE THE AUTIST ON THIS AUTISTIC BOARD BEING AUTIST.

but you realize what fricking board we're on right thats literally everyone on here so of course my review will be centered towards that shit you fricking moron.

Honestly hope El Salvador becomes a Latin American success story that the other nations follow. Arrest and kill all the gang and cartel member and bring your citizens back now that it's safe.
