Why is this meme funny?

Why is it supposed to be funny? What makes diaspora literature by Asian American women so horrifying that it can be used as a punishment?

Asian women don’t actually know oppression. They are one of the most sought after demographics in the world.

        >oooh im an asian girl which is really hard and no one gets it not even me
        >my parents were mean and wanted me to remain culturally asian and that's wrong
        >i hate asian men
        >when i was 8 years old someone said "me chinese me play joke me go pee pee in your coke" and that left me psychologically scarred for the rest of my life
        >white people see me as a person of color but all other races see me as crypto-white
        >my Chinese mother she saw the moon in a lake

Aren't most books that win awards basically "contemporary diaspore literature by Asian-American women with writing degrees in Harvard/Yale" with more or less the same complaints about parents and without an introspection if their fathers are actually right?

Asian-American women are typically attractive, well-off, and highly-educated. The more narcissistic ones love to pretend to be oppressed.

I think a lot of "twinkie" (westernized) Asians' neurosis comes from the fact that they are relatively high IQ and likely to have strong stable family dynamics that encourage middle class values and thus upper middle class prosperity. Thus, they are left with a kind of "So... what now?" problem, as they're semi-guaranteed modest affluence by age 30. There's a lot of room there if they have no strong connection to any culture, no religion, etc., to just become neurotic and miserable.

It’s because Asian (here it means mostly Asian not oriental, like Indian) diaspora books by women are all the exact fricking same

Kek completely on point, only thing that’s missing is
          >my mother was a “tiger parent” who made me study and practice the violin instead of letting me be lazy and get fricked by Jamal like a white teenager
          >because of this I grew up to be an extremely successful academically and have upper middle class career, also I’m happily married with beautiful children and I’m not fat
          >for some reason I’m traumatised by this and have a terminal case of mommy-issues

I don’t think it’s peculiar to Asian women.
Women of all races complain about trivial moronic shit mainly amounting to ‘Chad doesn’t kiss my arse properly’

It's also complete bullshit with what they write. They paint Asian dads as some crazy abusive figure that controls everything. It's a characterature from joy luck club. And tons of shitty movies with Asian bad guys
