Well, then how hard is it to sit down and read then?

After 2-3 hours of reading my head starts to hurt a little, clarity of thoughts fades away and i want to sleep, no matter what time of the day it is... How some people can read for 8-12 hours straight? Is it just matter of practice and the brain will adapt sooner or later?

Here's a better question: why would you want to read 8-12 hours a day?

Because i like to know new cool different things (general erudition) and i have nothing better to do in my free time.

If you want to try new things, consider going to novelty places
General erudition... But why? Collecting information isn't necessarily a good thing. Maybe you've met some know-it-all? Would you like to be that guy?

            >General erudition... But why?
Knowing more about the world resuilts in a better control over it and over circumstances you find yourself in. Simple as.

If that was true, then twitter users would be one of the most productive group in the face of the planet. Or maybe tiktok users, which are starting to consume 2 videos in 1 go.

What if you didn't need much to take charge of your own life? And you could do it right now?

            >twitter users
            >tiktok users
They know nothing, lol. The format of fast-paced social media by itself implies almost none of retention, depth or understanding of any learning material. Their maximum is to know a bunch of disconnected, superficial and often misunderstood facts, it's just a mess in the brain.

            >What if you didn't need much to take charge of your own life? And you could do it right now?
Do you want me to join a sect or start taking dr*gs anon...

As sad as it may be - they do retain some information. And sometimes, do actually have really deep information. However, as you pointed it out - it's dispersed in the sea of information they consume daily. So it's worth almost nothing.

            Maybe that's a clue, huh?

So take a break. Sleep for a bit, take a walk, do literally anything else and then return to reading. No one is holding a gun to your head, or so I hope, and tells you to read.

Same here, it tires me out and I hate that I can't focus for long hours like other people.

reading during the day isn't tiring, but I do find that reading after sundown makes me extremely sleepy
which is nice to get in the sleep mood, but bad if I actually want to keep reading

I get distracted because reading is taking me away from my devices and I might be missing amusing IQfy posts.

Read this book, it will help you to change your attitude and it covers the topic of fear of missing out on stuff in particular.
