No option to update the location of a file that has been moved or renamed. You have to do the initial moving from INSIDE qBittorent, which is moronic.

If a torrent has no activity on qbt it's marked as stalled. Years ago torrents used to get stuck in this state even though peers existed and the meme has stuck to this day.

really? cause I'm downloading a torrent with 50 seeders from a private tracker and it's stalled right away for 10+ mins and I had enough. but when i add it to utorrent 2.2.1 it's downloading at 50 mb/s immediately.

I have a torrent right now stuck on 99,8% which has 7 seeds and 3 leeches. qbit does stall torrents, but it will eventually finish. I just assume there's a limit to active connections it will attempt to make for my own sake. I'm not in a particular hurry but I could probably force it to finish. It's not really a false meme though. It definitely does occur. But given the other 3k torrents in my client I don't care that much.
I have tested stalling torrents in other programs including rtorrent on a seed box and I’ve observed the same issue at times with all of them - many seeds in the swarm but connected to 0. The only difference is qbittorrent says stalled and others say downloading (even though it isn’t)
It might also be a seed that genuinely does not have the 100% files. When harddrive corruption takes place for instance and your qbit still has the file seeding. As long as you don't recheck you can trick your client for months like this. Maybe seeders are simply unaware that their file has gotten corrupted.

No. Turns out it finished 10 minutes ago, all I needed to do was restart my torrent client. I'm not going to frick with my settings, those settings are in place for a reason. Might as-well just use deluge if you don't care about settings lmao

Is only better on Linux. And even then I question this because I've never tested it myself and things like LibreOffice and 7zip (FOSS) are all inferior to the propriety alternative.

The only reason to download anything legally like that is if it's something big and on a CDN. Otherwise, you're a fricking underage fricking pirate and should be buttfricked with tons of fines from companies you stole from.

There is no need to surpass it. The final good version of qBittorrent is 4.3.9, anything after that is trash. It made itself obsolete.
