      Probably above average.

Books only make you smarter if you read them out of a sense of curiosity and imagination. If you read for the express purpose of becoming smart, you skim over the weird personal moments of encounter and every book becomes simply a bullet-point list of truisms. This is known as The Reader's Paradox.

Books don't make you smarter, period.
Books can yield knowledge (facts, perspective, ideas, arguments, etc). Your intelligence doesn't change by reading.

Interesting point. This seems to be an observation based on wisdom, but true. The technical answer is that yes, they can raise your IQ. But ya, I wouldnt say its a give in that it will do so just by reading itself. Ive always felt that intelligence is a priori of curiosity, and vise versa.

I think that certain books that will make you think will increase your IQ, otherwise you will have to ask certain questions and engage with it in a particular fashion for them to actually have any significant change in your cognition.

I've started reading books for about a month now and i write small essays on every single chapter of the things i've learned and read. I don't know if my IQ is increasing but i definitely feel like my cognition has improved by at least x3.

Start with something light that youre already intrested in
          Like the hobbit and lotr
Then maybe do a couple more fiction books that seem intresting
After a few books you'll feel confident enough to read average books like infinite jest by pychon and james joyce's famed "call of" series
          Good luck anon

Just like every IQfy thread, the question posed is the wrong question to ask. It would be better to ask
    >Will reading books make me smarter?
If that is the question then invariably, yes. Between the act of reading itself as a process and the substantive information provided in what one reads, one will invariably become 'smarter' in a variety of ways. One's ability to process information, parse language, and think critically all generally will increase as one reads. Depending on what one reads they will grow wise with stories or learn new facts to incorporate into discussions with other people. I'm not going to go into the whole 'IQ is bunk' issue, but I do think fundamentally phrasing it that way alienates and objectifies intellect in such a way that it becomes completely removed from interacting with other people. What purpose does intellect serve without the exchange of knowledge? What is one trying to prove in isolation that a number such as IQ is going to assist in? Does a high IQ give the NEET solace? Sure, meaning is created through social construct, but c'mon, really?
    Read bok.

Guess what motherfricker, you are completely wrong and failed to accurately assess the question, and it's twice as funny because you just fricking projected yourself onto it and condescended like a complete fricking dweeb. What you described is gaining knowledge and methods of learning, which is completely different from IQ. IQ deals a lot more with pattern recognition, and is a good indicator of INTELLGENCE, or rather your ABILITY to learn rather than just simply learning new methods of learning, or facts. The only thing in your little brainlet dweeb paragraph that had any point towards the actual question was that your ability to process information will increase, which is maybe true, but you didn't elaborate on it whatsoever. This guy might not give a single frick about the magic number or social acceptance like you projectile vomited all over his shit, but was rather just curious as to whether reading could increase your ability and scope in learning and perception rather than just gaining knowledge. It ties into the age-old question of whether genius is born, made, or some form of combination. I think anyone would like to be brilliant, a genius who can see the targets others cannot and can therefore achieve some great feats and progress, whether it be for personal satisfaction or whatever else, and OP here wanted to know something every non-genius who has seriously thought about the matter also would like to know: can I achieve that? And more specifically: Can I do so by reading.
      Frick you

I'm not sure if it directly influences your IQ, but it certainly makes you better at using language and understanding words through exposure. As cringe as it is, it probably is akin to lifting weights with your brain

She is not as attractive in other photos. Pretty clearly bogged lips, when in this pic they look more natural. She also slathers her face in makeup and ties back her hair alot in her other photos, but her hair being loose in this pic is one of the best parts. Overall she has a very attractive upper facial structure. Her eyebrows and the bridge of her nose are very striking and strong, while her nose, slightly upturned, adds a layer of cuteness that meshes well. Again, her lips in this photo are attractive because they look more natural (not completely) but in her other pics it is very clear she accepted the call. I've not looked through everything she has, but this image is probably her best photo all around

Also you'll have to use daniella not dani. Dani results just show a couple of coloreds

No, IQ is pattern recognition (Which is the most important tool for solving pretty much anything).
Books are more philosophical and if you want to learn from them you can't just read them from start to finish, you have to think about what the author is saying, the conclusions he's coming to etc. It's healthy training for the mind and if you want develop a deeper philosophical understanding but it might also make you depressed as most other people have 0 philosophical understanding and live based just on what is popular and happening around them.
They don't "think" in a deeper sense.
Philosophy is what separates us from animals, and the humans who do not practice it will act more or less like animals. So you should read, not to improve your IQ, but to separate yourself from the herd.
