Windows 11 LTSC

I've been using Windows 11 IoT LTSC for nearly a month now and I'm extremely happy with it. Zero complaints.
>inb4 muh china it's not safe
It has been verified the ISO is straight from Microsoft and receiving updates. This is pure 10cuck/FOSShitter cope.

disable the telemetry and copilot and you're fine

Archive.org isn't Microsoft, the uploader could say Apple made that build if they wanted to. It originally came from a Chinese forum and that's a fact. I tried the build and it randomly pings to Malaysia/China, I wouldn't trust it for the life of me.

      >I tried the build and it randomly pings to Malaysia/China
Bullshit. Verified straight from Microsoft's VLSC.

If it's really verified/official ISO, why doesn't Microsoft release it on their own website?

      Because it's a RTM candidate.

Fricking fake and gay. As a leaked build, it's not listed on VLSC. Further, VLSC doesn't list hashes.

the tabbed file explorer might be a tad nice, but I don't see it worth the """upgrade""" on its own.

Anyone who uses explorer tabs as an excuse is a confirmed street shitter. Literally no one gives a frick. And the few autists that do just use some 3rd party file explorer since two decades ago.

If basednix was good I would use it, but it's a fact that Microsoft Windows was created by white men, and has been for 35 years, recently we are seeing more jeets ruining the OS, but I would rather use Windows with software that works than basednix that was made by a troon in his bedroom.

I'm really getting tired of how uppity 10 users are getting. As if using 10 LTSC until 2032 is something to aspire to. 11 has some useful features baked in, why wouldn't you use LTSC 11?

    Kys shi11.

Just because an OS has the label "LTSC" doesn't make it good, just makes it stable.
Windows 11 is currently still a creaky AI-filled laggy WIP with a jank file explorer, whack taskbar, whack start menu and gay context menus.
Being stuck with those innate OS problems, with no possibility of even receiving updates to fix them? Thats lame.

Maybe MS will actually fix the explorer.exe issues with Win11 at some point, but until they do there is no value in any LTSC variant of it.

The only thing that even slightly tempted me to move to W11 was the Android subsystem but now that it has been ended, I see no reason to change.

I will switch once it officially releases, stop being such an updater, 2021 LTSC works just fine unless you have a newer Intel CPU with estrogen cores.

      >BTW, is there a trustworthy website that lists checksums of the various ISOs?
There are, but this only has a hash on one site that seems rather sketchy. It's not on heidoc or more trustable sites, so I wouldn't use it yet. There's no reason to use it to be honest, better just waiting for official ones that can be trusted.
Chances are that you'll become a part of a Chinese botnet with this one honestly.

LTSC and ESR releases are placebo. You get the same shit, just with more support burden as most software targets the evergreen release. I actively avoid Linux distros that do LTS releases as well.

Linus created Git so you can always be on the latest version, embrace it!
