Implying they fricking paid for it before this. Slavs think like thieves especially when backed against a wall so expect to see advancements in Windows exploits and Linux usability.

They've RosaLinux, which I kid you not, "has been certified by the Ministry of Defence of Russia.".

True. But for most people it's not first resort or standard operating procedure.

Yeah, true. Same thing with all the rapes, I seriously don't get it. It's not uncommon for your own comrades to shoot you on the spot if you commit such an atrocity.

one thing is for certain. the absolute spastic reactions of the distro community that gets chosen by russia. Ukraine flag spam in every forum/chatroom/website, lgbtq+ avowals etc..

and then suddenly "open source without borders" becomes "lets range ban every russian IP from downloading distro X"

      Anonymous

      >lets range ban every russian IP from downloading distro X
      good
i think we should ban them from accessing the internet, period

Just the official links, aka the ones with nsa blob, so that's not really bad for russians.

Hope your country is not using m$ shits like azure and android (yes, m$ own 99.999% of android patents) because you're totally doomed. It's not just damn I will not be able to buy shits anymore, no it will be damn my organs have been sold without my knowledge. Hope you're ready, it's gonna be crazy.

Yeah, go look at Windows CVE history mate.
Not to mention, linux is open source, the probability of CVE's being disclosed is higher than Windows NT's. There's, with 100% certainty, more "market value" for a Windows NT zero day.

Yes, Microsoft reports their security vulnerabilities, unlike Lincuck
            >Not to mention, linux is open source, the probability of CVE's being disclosed is higher than Windows NT's.
Very few people actually read millions of lines of codes every single day
            https://blog.erratasec.com/2014/09/many-eyes-theory-conclusively-disproven.html

Windows is a product, and the companies that do publish an OS based on Linux do report on their vulnerabilities (i.e. redhat, suse, canonical, etc).

There's, without a doubt, the potential for bigger bounties, and therefore a bigger black market, when dealing with Windows NT, than there's with Linux. The market share is bigger, and the software in question is closed source.
Meaning, that there's inherently more value to an undisclosed Windows NT critical CVE, than there'll ever be for one in Linux.
The money, the infrastructure, the market share simply isn't there. I'm not saying that the "many eyes theory" is correct, what I'm saying is that a Pandora's box will always grant more bounties for its secrets.
