its pretty shit man. You ain't insane but it will be a lot of time until you can see some profit out of it. Think 6 months at very, very best. this is just a -kind of- niche so you'd have to have contacts.

yes it sounds exactly like someone no one needs and you'wont profit and probably lose money trying to profit.

I think a lot of people need it, but getting paid for it is a headache.

      Produce or crypto?

      Produce.

Used to work in logistics and when it comes to warehousing, especially of food items that spoil easily, the amount of work and hassle you have to put in relative to the amount of profit makes it suicide-fuel unless you have a really high tolerance for dealing with bullshit while getting very little back for it

What kind of bullshit are we talking? I've heard rumor on the grapevine that certain big companies are basically nightmare customers who try to dictate your prices to you.

Bigbox retailers know they're market makers and know they don't need you and they're not going to give a shit about negotiating with you for your one dinky little warehouse.

Why would JAV companies need cold storage?

they literally sell hard copies and digital copies, some under a certain "cap" of production and then it becomes lost media.
Porn studios tend to just save it online, but real pornhouses like Realtykings have it all hard cased, just like good ole times (ON A FRICKING MEMORY CARD, DON'T TRYNA ACT SMART W ME)

oh boy, you dont actually need to own an storage to star, just buy the cheapest property you can afford and demolish that shit, building from the ground up with storage in mind is cheaper than adapting an already existing building. I know for a fact that if you put an ear in the grounf with truflation you can use that cold storage to prepare for bad spots in the market down the road.

So yes anon, go. It's a good idea. this would also free you to being a wage cuck.

there a lot of elbow grease to actually get useful information from truflation, I'm a free user I dont know how specific their data nodes can be, but maybe in the close future after they fully implement AI....

rent it out to game companies, or in this case, *small* game companies.
Specially the online ones, you never know when a Lethal Company 2 is gonna happen, and best case scenario you can just turn it to a server room

actually i take back my previous comment, becoming a body storage facility prior to the bird flu pandemic and partnering with FEMA/department of energy high level X file glowies might be a great business plan . you'll probably have some employee turnover as some of them get infected with zombie-virus but that is to be expected "in the biz"

if energy costs go up, (and they will, precipitously), then it will not be a profitable business and you will lose your initial investment,

I wonder how much of the cost of running a cold storage facility is literally just energy.
