probably the one that flies, you know, with its wings, those things it has on its side that allow it to glide and fly, probably where they got the idea to add wings on the airplanes, probably didn't call them air planes, probably had a moronic name for the contraption that didn't catch on that then became airplane later down the line, back then people sucked ass at naming things
probably called it something gay like flying contraption or the fantastic machine

I never really got an inkling that my father went through several 'traumatic' events until he started telling his stories once I got older, and even then I still don't notice any proverbial scars or lingering shock in his behavior. He came of age in a place that was going through a very violent attempt at a revolution, one where the villagers he grew up with were sometimes beheaded and had their heads put on iron spikes in the morning for everyone to see. One time he narrowly escaped death when a bus was stopped by a gang of insurgents parading around as members of the military, and these guys went on a massacre, choosing a dozen victims and blowing their heads off on the side of the road, my father not being one of those poor souls. Some of his classmates quit school and joined the rebel forces, while others joined the military ; all out of a pure thirst for vengeance, and all at the age of sixteen. His own brother almost got executed due to falsified claims of treason. He lived through the most brutal earthquake of this region's modern history. And yet, he's this very easy-going, almost silly, regular man, who can speak about all of these painful memories while cracking jokes and treating it as an event that happened, and nothing more. He regrets those bloody times, but he's not as caught up into it as you'd expect the average person of today to be, wallowing and sensationalizing this "trauma". In fact, he never refers to it as trauma. It was just fate. His biggest source of pain probably is his loony father's rather devilish antics.
All of this makes me wonder just how we much the idea of a singular event that is unanimously perceived as barbarically tragic is based on how much we feed the egregore ourselves, making that cut deeper than it originally is, since you're basically egged on by the media and the school system especially to heighten the drama. I should also add that psychologists/psychiatrists were rarely ever taken seriously around here, not until the last decade with the more social media adjacent crowd. I have heard about the Empire of Trauma book, which might clarify a lot of my questions about this topic, for now I am more curious in directly hearing about experiences and observations made by other regular folks. I know the main doubts concerning this concept are cast by the questionabld recollections of people's claims of sexual abuse, so an alternate angle which deals with how people process war greatly interests me. I've found myself approaching the usual PTSD-scapes you encounter in films differently, even if I do realize that at the end of the day, there is a great difference between being stuck in a hellish blazing battlefield as a soldier and witnessing "urban guerilla", for lack of a better term.

When something has an average effect that doesn't at all mean that each individual is affected in the same way and to the same degree. Your father may actually be more well adjusted than he would have been without those experiences and that is completely in keeping with the average effect being large and bad assuming that someone else in the population had an extremely negative outcome.

Spent a sleepless night last night in a holding cell. DWI. I have no criminal record so my bond was extremely cheap and I got out pretty quickly once I'd actually been arraigned. The whole process has been pretty smooth and painless and I don't anticipate it being a problem long-term.

It was interesting sitting in the general holding cell listening to some of those guys shoot the shit, though. Guys who have done multiple stints in jail, been convicted of assault over and over. One guy was facing eight class-A misdemeanor charges and was talking about how he probably wasn't going to get to see his daughter any time soon, not even in December when she turned six.

I wound up feeling great camaraderie and empathy with them. It was easy to forget their crimes and just see them as humans, stuck in the same room with me, all of us just wanting to get out. I'll probably never forget them. I want to pray for them a lot, too.

Honestly I think going to jail is a good experience in that it humanizes people who are often dehumanized. There is lots of camaraderie and it’s mostly people who made poor decisions or mistakes. People are generally good and everyone fricks up a time or two, some are caught and others aren’t. If it isn’t a heinous crime then someone shouldn’t be strongly judged for it and have it hang over their heads for the rest of their life.

Scum of the earth like them put on a big pity party and talk big emotions, but in reality they're cold and scheming and have no empathy themselves. They destroy society around them and cry when society responds. Without prison they would be running rampage across the streets

NTA but I’m like you. IQ in 130s and I seriously struggle with accepting myself because of it. I can, however, rationally admit that this fatalism we share is extremely ridiculous and bordering on mental illness. I think it stems from some sort of idealisation of genius and a refusal to accept any other form of life, but this is a specific kind of myopia possible only under a decadent society that overemphasises one aspect of what it means to be a human being, in this case discursive intelligence, while dysfunctionally blunting others (such as the body). Who are your favourite writers? I suggest you Nietzsche, who answers this problem if you approach him correctly.

I had a dream where I was driving from my family's land to somewhere else (to do some errands, I think). As I was reaching the local town, I had crashed into a black Mercedes.
The dude driving it immediately calculated the cost for repairs (about 2156,56€), and left me a note about a society which he was part of (and somehow confused me to be part of as well) - something like the Stonecutters. I quickly went to my poor 1990 red Fiat Panda, with its front ruined, and made a run for it.
When I woke, it took me one or two seconds to remember if it was a dream.

Well I had a dream I was driving a black Mercedes. It wasn't mine even, but it had a hijack and couldn't break so it wasn't really easy to control it. Guess it was my fault sort of but it would be nice if you would pay me the money in the next dream because I need it.

Where I used to work someone threw a camera with an f 1.6 lens and a .5 lux near-infrared sensor in the trash, and taking it home I found it was only a loose mylar ribbon cable at fault. Connecting it to a big monitor I found it was wonderfully sensitive to meteors, and made some video recordings using it. It was fun to play them back at 4X, and watch the Big Dipper rising at an obvious rate, while the occasional faint fireball, almost invisible to the unaided eye, slanted by. Rather surprisingly, when I set it up to face the winter constellations looking south, Orion and Canis Major looked pretty much as they do to the naked eye, if cartoonishly amplified. I still have it, as well as a big ol' 2K monitor with a composite input. Might as well hook that shit up and leave it on. If nothing else it will make most unusual wallpaper, especially at night.

It was on 09-09 that I decided that I was going to go all in on this girl.
I contemplated making a list of positive and negatives of starting a life with her and the negatives just seemed so petty compared to the positives. A plus is that I've dated a few women and they were just not in the same league. So once you find someone who ticks all the right boxes, you just have to decide. Either this is the one or you'll stay alone. I chose her.

idk just writing about my life: excerpt

This Discord is nothing but a slaughterhouse, and I am one of the cattle. She barely interacts with me or the server at large, and even when we are blessed with her presence, it's never for more than a handful of minutes at a time. She's truly only here to collect the offerings from her livestock, feeding on our entrails and our synapses like a ravenous, flesh-eating parasite. Once satiated, she disappears again under the umbrella of 'Discord status: Invisible.' She then returns to the more important matters of not interacting with her victims, watching anime, and reading manga.

This is funny, anon. I've seen this phenomenon quite often. Do you really need to use discord for human interaction?

      Anonymous

There was a girl I talked to almost daily for a year that I was also in a discord group chat with. She was a very cherished friend, and eventually I fell in love with her. I told her so, and while unrequited she left me with a "maybe" for a while. I'd tease her about it from time to time, and she'd do the same, but eventually and suddenly things came to a point where she blocked me on everything.
I had sent a message that if there's anyone she's closer to, where if she felt ready for a relationship (the reason she gave for not having one was that she was too unwell for one, and that nothing about me was the problem) I wouldn't be her first choice. I had said that it was something I was agonizing over and that a clear honest answer would do us both a lot of good. That was when she blocked me
Well, we were mutually in this one server made up of a small group of friends who had met online years before, and I had asked one who I knew she was really close with, probably moreso than me and the one I was curious about, if he might know why. The dude got pretty curt with me, and I eventually asked him if he had feelings for this girl. He said he had used to and thinks she knew, but that he didn't anymore. Also tells me another friend in the server knows her well and that I should ask for advice from him
I ask him about it, and we eventually decide to have him ask her on my behalf. She tells him that having to always turn down offers for a relationship made her uncomfortable, and that she really didn't plan on unblocking me anytime soon.
I had really only asked twice seriously, and I was only trying to make a bit more distance in that regard when she blocked me, so it seemed odd.
Anyways, her and that first guy seemed to have gotten a lot closer since then, and I'm just filled with all kinds of uncertainty about that. Things like whether he lied about something I said about her or tried to push her further away from me because he was still interested, things like that.
It fills me with a lot of worry and dread and I really just wish I could talk to her and get some closure about things, but I've been actively avoiding interacting with her in the server because I don't want to make her even more uncomfortable, especially in a space she's enjoyed with her friends for years. It's to the point I'm thinking of just leaving the server and moving on to the other choice I was planning to make for my life if finding a good partner failed. I've never felt the way about someone that I do about her, and I know it's never gonna be that way for anyone again, but it might be time for me to just tuck that part of me away and move on to other pursuits

God, even in this post you reek of desperation, no wonder her pussy dried up. You can be obsessive over a girl without resorting to 'date me date me, what do you want me to do'. Girls hate having to explain themselves and the fact that you havnt picked that up even though you must be getting on in years is concerning. They want you to figure out what they want. Usually they don't even know what they want themselves so they want you to figure it out for both of them, take a risk and become it. You're supposed to be the man to lead to both of you through life and be the stable confident one she can rely on. The sooner you figure out excessive romanticism doesn't work with a girl (even the 'good' ones) the better, there are no snowflakes (at least in terms of how they see love). For a girl all they want is perceived acceptance, validation and a strange mix of control and being dominated, you have to keep capitulating in ways but endlessly be finding other ways to dominate (lead).

          Anonymous

Women have never been difficult for me, but finding the right one has, overall I'm kinda shit over text compared to reality. Anyways, this here makes sense, I definitely hit the excessive romanticization thing, told her all about how I felt about her...of course it hasn't been something I'd do with anyone, but it seemed right with her to just be open and honest about the way I felt. Maybe I got a little obsessive and went a little far, but holy shit you wouldn't believe how perfect this girl was. I couldn't dream of a better one if I tried. I didn't say all that to her, of course, and I tried to pace it out some, but now that you mention it I definitely went a little far
Still though, I wasn't completely simping or anything, it was a really honest friendship and it's not like I was only ever trying to appease her or appeal to her or anything, we talked about plenty besides that and got along well.
Pace is the trick, I guess. Not being desperate for women in general is no excuse for being desperate for the one you really like, is the lesson learned here.
Frick though I cannot even talk to other women without thinking of her. Man I fricked this one up

Well, to clear things up a little, normally I would never, but this girl really is just special. Everyone in this friend group is around early-mid twenties and we've all known each other for years. My job has me in Korea and she lives in Japan, so that was gonna be convenient for visiting
Thanks anyways though, this whole thing has been pretty sobering in how I handle relationships and women in general.
I get it man, even if you've got all these feelings you still have to remain grounded and not get ahead of yourself, doing so just leads to some pathetic behavior. It's all more a game to be played even when you're serious about things.

I had a friend over to watch the UFC with me a few weeks ago, it was his first time watching the UFC and I remember talking so much and telling him so much about it (because it's something that I really enjoy) that my throat started hurting. I've never talked that much before in my life, I doubt he actually cared about what I had to say but he was asking questions regardless. I wonder if I'll ever talk that much again.

Check out "The Athiest Experience" on YouTube, specifically their older content before Matt Dillahunty left. I don't actually know if that will help with your situation or not but it's very informative. And Matt Dillahunty knows his shit too, he was trying to become a priest (I'm pretty sure it was a priest, if not it was something similar) before he realised religion was bullshit, he's very well experienced with both sides.

the argument is about Christology, not the merit of Christianity as a whole. Jehovahs don't believe that Christ is God the son co-eternal with the father, but that he was God's first and greatest creation, an idea that's considered heretical by all of Nicene (mainstream) Christianity

I told you last thread, JWs always just say "nuh uh, that verse is translated wrong!" The entire purpose of The Gospel of John was to affirm Christ's divinity. If someone says the New Testament doesn't affirm Christ's divinity then that person is moronic.

            Anonymous

the bigger question seems to me to be whether or not *words attributed to Jesus* prove his divinity but either way, it is a translated work and the original is lost afaik (the aramaic)

Also most of the bible is censored (apocrypha)
Bible was written somewhere around 360 and we have no idea what it said before that, besides the tanakh (ot)
I fear most of it is larping and has nothing to do with early christianity

            >that verse is translated wrong
You can just use the original Greek.

            Which is itself a translation

You seem to be. The bible is oral teachings, all initial teachings are in aramaic or whatever language was used in coastal levant at the time

            >Also most of the bible is censored (apocrypha)
            No it's not
            >Bible was written somewhere around 360
            No it wasn't
            >we have no idea what it said before that

            >I fear most of it is larping and has nothing to do with early christianity
            I fear you're moronic

Insane cope. You can trace maybe 1-2% of the biblical canon as it was established in 360 in 100-200. And nothing survives from 0-50 (or even 0-100). Before the apocrypha were censored by the fallible men who made up the canon we have today, they were legitimately circulated as valid teachings by other branches. The denomination that managed to obtain power literally erased half of the preserved biblical teachings kek

sure, but does anything he himself says indicate his divinity? It's interesting for instance that the only account of of the heavenly declaration, the completion of Johns prophethood, which gives an actual source to the statement from on high, the one in John- in this account the mention of being someones "son" is absent. Get a job that is less demanding

I'm actually opposite, tired of neeting. Currently looking for a job, best it would be very tiring type of job. My neet time was good in the beginning, when I had money, but know when I'm broke, I can't pay 'rent' for my parents (I'm living with them, frick renting from israelitelords) or buy my own food. It's agonizing, I can't understand how neets can live like this. I've been skipping my workouts and reading sessions, just either looking for a job or mindlessly scrolling through moronic social medias or getting into politics in my country and getting unreasonably angry at how stupid people are. I need to get a job asap, limit my social media intake, and then I know things will manage. Next time I will go on neet, if it even will ever happen, I need to think this shit way deeper than just "oh I'm gonna just take a little rest from work, but it's okay because I'll be exercising and reading books", it's not a fricking good plan.

It took me two NEET periods to finally have a NEET period where I was productive. When you do it feels great. Working out often, reading a lot and just enjoying life.
HOWEVER I could never do the NEET business while living with my parents. I would die of shame and feel like a leech. NEETing while living on your own is awesome.

Neeting is awesome when you aren't neeting. I realize that hanging around watching TV and lying on the couch thinking bout nuffin is only enjoyable when you have work or other duties to do. On neet, it's only a question of days or weeks until this mode of life becomes a living hellhole. You start the day getting up considerably late, because why get up early when there's nothing to do? And already you start the day feeling bad for having gotten up at a time you consider late. Then you try to take some coffee or something that might give you a mood, you make the coffee, you drink the coffee, and already finally managed to give your life a purpose again... for 10 fricking minutes. The hellhole starts creeping up again, and you're just thinking about wtf am I going to do now. So you look to the black screen of your still turned off computer, and only minutes pass until you turn it on, scrolling mindlessly for hours, until at some point it becomes exhausting or boring, and you decide to do some groceries while the sun is still out, put on some clothes that only smell half dirty because you still didn't make the laundry, and you do the groceries feeling like you're full of shit, and you return home, prepare something for dinner thinking about how much this neeting fricking sucks. Then you sit on the couch, watch a movie or something, or read a book, but the hellhole doesn't stop. And this is how months can pass on a loop. Neeting sucks ass.

Yeah, working sucks but it outweighs being a neet. Life is better with purpose and obligations. You are more motivated and confident. Also the benefits of having more money, a more vibrant social life, and most importantly, INDEPENDENCE

          >Wake up at 9/10

          >Eat it while watching SharkTank on tv and sipping on heavenly orange juice
          >lay down for an hour, let my stomach process the food.
          >go on the internet, scroll IQfy or twitter, listen to music
          >1 o'clock time to head to the gym (which is beautifully empty at this time)
          >3 o'clock I'm done, went for a swim in the gym pool and the sauna, feel fresh.
          >Head to the grocery store, decide what i want to cook today.
          >Maybe stop by my moms for a half hour, chat
          >When back home, either play a video game or read
          >6 o'clock time to cook dinner
          >Eat while watching trailer park boys or w/e
          >It's 7, time to roll some joints
          >smoke about 3 during the night, either play multiplayer games with friends or lurk IQfy, maybe draw some OC for fun
          >12 o'clock time to wind down, jack off and cum and then hop into the shower
          >steaming hot and clean, I put on my jammies
          >sleep like a baby

That's an average day, if it's summer I do other things.
I enjoyed it immensely and am sad that I will never do that again. Or only when I'm much older.

How did you afford your own place without a job?

            Anonymous

I worked for about 2 years. I live frugal so I saved plenty of money.
My costs were low. For my place everything included (Internet, rent, heating etc) it was about 800 euro.
Add food and it would be around 1000/1100 euro a month.
Did it for 3 months so I got 3 months of freedom for about 3300 euro.
I saved plenty more than that while working. Saved about 800 a month so could easily afford it.

            >euro
I see now. I’m no expert on unemployment, disability, and all that in America but I’m pretty sure it’s not enough to have your own place in a decent neighborhood, let alone groceries and personal expenses

            Anonymous

I did not receive any money from the state. I just saved enough to live without working for a few months.
One thing that did make it easier is that I had social housing. Which is not a dirty work in the netherlands and especially not in the small town I lived.
Paying only 650 euros for rent a month made it possible. If I had to pay 1000 euros like some it would have hurt much more.

It's not just sex, It's intimacy. I have never been in relationship and at this point mostly fantasy, especially at night when I just lay trying to fall asleep, about normal non sexual things that one of my age should have experienced. Like holding hands with a cute girl, or indulging in our interests, talking alone, laying in bed etc. I feel so crushed and polluted. I've tried nofap but it just makes me even more depressed, at least with masturbation there's a bit alleviation and I'm not constantly bogged down by my thoughts.

      >1. transsexuality can't be a delusion because it's culturally normal nowadays, courtesy of the land of the free
      >2. an obsession isn't a delusion because an obsession can be an exaggerated preoccupation with something very much real
You keep making arguments grounded in the notion that you sound reasonable to yourself, so anything you say's just as good as any other argument, no matter how widely agreed upon, but you're making up castles in the sky populated by flying fricking donkeys, if you make up your own meanings for technical terms you're removing any shred of relevance to the real world your arguments might have had.
      >I don't believe you have to be a genius
No, of course, but it's helpful to be a trained mental health professional and not to have a desperate need to dunk on the libs because trannies will never be women.
      >although there can be subjective judgement
You're making it sound like, again, anyone's opinion is as good as anyone else, and your opinions is as good as that of a mental health professional, as long as the opinions would hold up in a debate, and years of medical schools only exist to indoctrinate poor unsuspecting, reasonable citizens into, among other things, enabling any deluded pussy to live out their fantasies of autogynephilia by cutting their dicks off, but if that really is what you believe it's you who's deluded.
Just as you would value your critical opinion of a book more than that of someone who has the opposite opinion but hasn't read the book beyond page 5, professional opinions are often more valid than naive opinions, not because they come from professionals and whatever professionals say is correct, rather because professionals are informed about the matter they're offering opinions on, while you aren't.

Trans people are mentally ill grug level morons, when will you learn? They offer nothing to society and putting them into mental asylums will only do a favour to every normal human being. Enabling their degeneracies and those of homosexuals and other deviants has only been a mistake.

    >me and my friends are done for the night and decide to stay at a hotel
    >we head to the hotel and there is another group of people I've never met that are connected to one of mine. we talk about black nerd (although we very much don't dress like that) stuff and whatever
    >we all suddenly start to smell weed, but none of us are dumb enough to smoke out in the lobby
    >time passes and the police show up, they run to the nearest exit, I delay a little
    >because there is a lift/elevator packed with fire. it opens there's no direction of where the fire was coming from, it's turbulent

    >I can hear my friends get into an argument with the police outside. while still in the lobby, all the other lift/elevator doors violently open after one another
    >I head in the direction of my friends, I meet he police and tell about the fire, my manic behavior is the opposite theirs, they stare at me neutrally along with my friends
    >I'm running now to whatever direction is giving me cover. I'm from the rural so the nuances of urban life are lost on me
    >after turning down a hundred alley ways with bumpy cobbled paths under darkness and police sirens behind me
    >I find a Wenzels(bakery) selling nothing close to what you'd find in one, a lot closer to Caribbean food

    >the bakery is unfinished, there is just bare breeze blocks at the back and what seemed like a small patch of the heaviest downpour possible
    >the black woman that owned the store is dressed in ancient and occultist robes. she reaches out a hand, I hear some police sirens trying to sound like Mc'Ds vat
    >light tapped on my shoulder and I turn around to the car park. what is odd about it, is the lamppost had no effect on the area. all I can see is the headlights and the silhouettes of cars
    >my closest friend out the group is there, yet he's a shadow with little ruby eyes as he steps out.
    >there is this feeling of being pulled to that spot, my past history of getting into random cars and not turning out well came back, and I decide not to

    >the woman behind me tells me of a shelter nearby and guides me there, again the heavy rain cloud follows her usually this means that a person is sad but she seemed fine. I ask and she say's it not what you think but is a blessing
    >she drops me off at the shelter. I am being flooded by the loudest group of people all in one building, I delve deeper and figure this shelter is full of film crews
    >I find the emptiest spot in the building to rest, a hobo with a boom mic is trying to start a fight, but I turn away and head to sleep
    >only realising now the that there was music playing (like a score). it is the mid-final section of pendulum man it's weird yet I am too tired to care
    >I fall asleep in turn waking up

Dilemma. I was visiting a famousish/popular little bookstore which is very packed and narrow and tight, with some friends/acquaintances (one of which is a girl I find particularly hot, call her X), and at some point one girl tells me there's a little section I had missed with some stuff that would be up my alley I should check out and gives me directions to it and mentions that X is also there. So I immediately thought to answer jokingly "Well, if X is there, and it's a tight place too..." But I didn't because I feared it would be deemed inappropriate given what drossy year we live in. Point being, I've had a great many other suchlike examples of withholding comments I deemed would be quite droll, for fear of getting metooed. Are my concerns unjustified?

How so? Sounds exactly like it. If you ask wether your idea would have been a good response, then no, if would have come off as stupid and perverted, any reaction other than that would have been sufficient, what did you reply them?

            >How so? Sounds exactly like it.
Various subtle and obvious stuffs, unnecessary to explain but you can trust me on it. When she told me X was there it really was just a simple direction.
I thought the unserious pervertedness of it would be funny - it helps that the way she said "X is there too" sounded funnily as if it was supposed to be an enticement to go there, like "there's free candy". (also I'm translating from the language we were speaking in, in which this accentuations, you understand, were more acute) Kind of like how antic Hamlet asking Ophelia "Lady, shall I lie in your lap?" is funny. But yeah I understand what you mean and that's why I didn't say it.
            >what did you reply them?
just barely replied something to the tune of "alright I'll look", don't remember exactly.

No because everything, including the visit itself, was spontaneous and unplanned and it was not a private place but a bookstore full to the brim with people. Since you couldn't know the relevant context and details you can just trust me on this one it's a sure thing.

Ok but remarks about directly implying having sex with someone 'as a joke' is always cringe to women, like so many other things, and you can be happy you didn't say it out loud. They probably would have blocked you from contact entirely forever.

            Anonymous

Ok you may be generally right but what about this one, pure hypothetical. Woman makes liver pâte, asks you to taste it. You taste it and say it's good but you would rather taste her "pate". (or you say it directly without tasting the pâte) The ingeniousness of this wordplay should hit so hard that it would not be cringe, but amusing.

            Anonymous

Well, I would never say such a thing, if I'm in a relationship with her of course it's something else, but to an acquantiance, I assume the consequences would be only negative, not necessarily because it would freak her out but because of the many other possibilities that could have been said, but if you're willing to do that, I'll gladly listen to how it played out.

            Anonymous

Unfortunately I don't think I will ever get to use that one (since it requires a hot girl making liver pâte and me being there and tasting it... it's just a tad far-fetched).
But yes, to get back to the original point, I see you affirm and validate my concerns over the prudence of these comments which I have so far been wise to keep to myself. Thanks for your feedback.

    23rd Birthday

It's my 23rd birthday anons. Other than usual life stuff like the sperg job centre, I've not done anything special other than get one of those supermarket pizzas that brand themselves as deluxe for a change. 22 already like I was too old to be where I was in life, and as much as I've been going to the gym properly for a bit now, I'm 23 with little to say for myself. Not a virgin, not friendless and I'm in reasonable physical fitness but other than that I'm still lacking on most of the usual life points. Yes on the chans it's more common to be an autistic NEET living in shared housing or with parents, but I want my own crib (I'm spiritually black). My mental health is fine enough, although if I don't manage to leave this place soon and I get blamed for an entire house worth's of occasional noise, it will. If I find a job, I imagine it will be like the Smith's song and I'll want to leave ASAP because I've never gotten along with my bosses. Hopefully I'll find something bareable if I keep trying and maybe I'll be able to finish this book I'm twerking on. Maybe I'll even post it as a pdf like the last two times I finished a book, although this one isn't just a collection of half baked schizo essays and attempts at short stories. Really hoping there's more I can do to get what I want but it doesn't help that all the support I'm getting says things like "well you're doing all the right things", makes me feel hopeless that there's anything I can do to change it and I have to accept that I'll be a cynical gay with chips on my shoulder about the way the world works. Might as well keep trying because trying feels better, as 22 was at least better than most, if not all of the years before it. Happy 9/11, insallah my homies.

I’ve started to really despise the way I look, sound, present, the things I say, the things I do. I just really hate the way I am. When I was thinking about this I had the thought “I hate myself” but I felt a bit of revulsion at that thought and I didn’t want to admit it. Somehow “I hate the way I am. I hate my life” sounded better in my mind. It’s like I can’t admit to myself how I really feel because I don’t know what to do with that admission.

Have to watch two pbs documentaries, hour long each, about the civil rights movement. It's funny seeing them. That whole social and cultural revolution to give Blacks a chance to be in society. And now look at them. Bunch of ugly, stupid, violent Black folk. Shooting each other by the dozens on the daily. Drowning in drugs. Spreading aids. Terrorizing society at large. Collecting welfare. I've never hated Black folk more than I hate them now.

Blame liberals. They were supposed to be given equal rights before the eyes of the law. Instead, they got a second constitution that supersedes the first and a permanent victim status, complete with a robust law and social science industry where a lot of people stood to profit from their continued failure. It’s actually terrible what was done to black people in this country in the 20th century.

I also just think I’m a boring person. I have a safe civil service career, and a plain personality. I don’t have a lot of friends and I’m not a ladies man. I don’t do wild things. It’s not that I didn’t want to. I’ve just not had obvious opportunities. When I read biographies of great men from history, I really wish I was like them. Not only were they admirable, but they were just interesting people with problems, strengths, strong and vibrant colorful personalities. I wish I could get that. I had one, but at some point in my 20s I hardened myself and became boring.

my mother is getting fat and she's sad about it. she ate almost all the pie I bought today. I told her to eat less and she said "do you prefer that I eat or that I find another man?". Well, that's strange since my parents are married for 30 years. But she continued "It's been one year and a half since we last had sex". I cringed so hard, but tried to explain that my father is old and as you get old your testosterone decreases and it's hard to get it up. "But then why does your father jerk off every day in the bathroom?", she said. "He seems to get up just fine with porn". I asked how she knew that and the reason is that she searches the bathroom bin from times to times and finds dirty tissues. "Oh, and he also blames you, can you image that?". Yeah, I can imagine. I can because it IS my fault. I jerk off every day in the bathroom god damnit. I admitted it's me, but not completely because I cringed and wanted to die. She continued "your dad is lucky I'm Christian, otherwise I would have found another man already".
Me jerking off caused a problem in my parents marriage. I'm 26.

On 25mg 2cb right now, after a 10 hour shift. Not sure what compelled me to spill my heart out to the IQfy literature board during what I had anticipated to be a fun time, but here I am.
First day back after having just called off a week. Not sure what it was but it felt like the flu. I was genuinely bedridden the first 3 days but the last 2 days I just got lazy. I was so lazy I didn't even go into church. Luckily work was "understanding" since there has been a disease going around, but I really shouldn't have called off the whole week, and I'm worried I will eventually get to the point where I can't even muster up the strength to go into work, and I really do not want to go back to that point in my life.
I was fricking miserable, stuck in the self-jerking off mindset of "muh depression" and "muh anxiety", unable to even get out of bed or bathe myself.
I've been doing better than that for the past month, I guess I'm just very worried that what I did the past week is a sign of what's to come. And I guess it's the most comforting and also the scariest thought that I and only I have control over the situation, and ultimately it's just me that has power over my current predicament. I'm not even sure why I'm writing this post considering that fact, I guess I'm just looking for affirmation? Not that some anonymous people I'll never meet in my life should ever have to be the ones to "affirm" me.
    Thanks.

I never thought it would happen, but I fell in love with a guy. I think I have to come to terms with the fact that I honestly don't like women, no matter how much I forced myself to. Sure, I've jerked off to women before and find them sexually attractive, but not once in my 24 years of living have I ever been in love with a woman. This isn't about women having radically different reptilian brains that men can't comprehend, or other incel nonsense, I just find myself being way more comfortable with men.

This specific man? I want to kiss his entire body. I want for us to jerk each other off and lay together afterwards. I am a homosexual.

I’ve always wondered what the feeling is like when repressed homosexuals admit it to themselves. Like, did you have an idea beforehand and just pushed it down or stopped yourself from fantasizing? Was there a specific point where the truth just poured out and you realized “yeah, I’d like to suck his wiener or have his/my wiener in my/his ass”?

I never thought much of it since I coped with awful, dispassionate sex with women in college, but on my last 3 hour night walk with this guy, I just suddenly realized: "oh yeah, I really like this man. I've liked him more than any woman ever. I think want to frick him." Then a switch got flipped and it's like he's a sexual being to me now. He's bi, so I'm optimistic.

I joined the Navy about two years ago. I have since been deployed to Bahrain, on a tiny wooden warship that barely works. I came here with a larp like hope to be like old sailors. I also was engaged to a woman back stateside, and I was very close to God. since being here my hope has been shattered, I've left my fiance, and I've been sucked into a whirlwind of alcoholism and prostitutes. I fell in love with an Eastern European woman who moved here due to lack of work back in Europe. But I'm so tired. I miss writing and the free time I once had. I finished my third novel some time ago but I can't muster the strength to start a new one. I want to be close to God again, and I will be. I'm tried of my tiredness and my own self absorbed sorrow. I want to be free in Christ and I will be. but most of all I want to leave this modern day Sodom and I want to see this whole island burn. God help us all.

I have a more-than-strong fondness for fat girls. Big, plump, porky, obese, whatever you want to call them, they entice me and stir my appetites. I love their big bellies, their big asses, their big breasts, even their second chins adding volume to their faces. I love their ponderous soft bodies and their tendency to take up a lot of space. I love their ripe fullness which seems to extend to their personalities. I love that they love good food as much as I do, and love bad food as much as I do, too. Even the very act of loving food is erotic for me in a girl, and especially so in a big girl.

I often struggle how to deal with this when I'm dating. If I'm dating a big girl, how do I tell her I like her size? If I'm dating a skinny girl, how do I tell her that I sometimes fantasize about her gaining 50 pounds, 100 pounds, 200 pounds?

I realize that obesity carries health complications with it, and I don't want to subject a potential significant other to anything bad. But I don't know how to avoid it. This is just what I happen to like, physically.

I can't say I've ever met a fat girl that didn't have a shitty personality, I don't know where you're meeting the good ones.

I would like to move out but I can't for three reasons.

    1. Australia is currently going through a housing crisis.
    2. I don't have a job so I can't pay for rent.
    3. I'm too attached to my dogs, I don't know how I'd cope if I could see them every day. There have been long periods of time where I've been away from them and I got kind of sad when thinking of them.

Women don't really banter like men do where there's no hidden message, or at least there's a 0.1% chance it's manbanter and she's just an anomaly who can be chill like that. Most likely either she's insane, either worried about losing you / resentful of you and has to vent weird negative emotions onto you to offset her own (likely she doesn't even understand the exact dynamics), or it's a plain shit test and she wants to see how you react. Being butthurt is a bad reaction but as usual with women she's forcing you onto the rocks and forcing you to carry out difficult maneuvers to maintain "poise," by doing very little on her own end. If you don't care at all and affirm it too much jokingly, you are an incel. If you care too much you are an incel because only an incel would care enough to take it seriously. Women are very tedious for this reason, I suggest pissing on her fancy soaps and shampoos whenever you're in the shower to let off steam.

Never tell a girl you're a virgin or incel. It's like being the kid who isn't cool but 'wants to learn how to become one'. It's beyond pathetically cringe and lying about having a sexual past is beyond easy.

Yeah me too, you don't even need to lie though or only indirectly. You can even not reply when someone asks wether you have previous sex experience, just saying yes with your eyes. Is this lying? Try it, it's easy, and when further questions come up, say: "bauhhhaaaaa, bhaaa"
It sounds ridiculous, but it works.

cute girl was checking me out at the store today. If she wasn't with her parents and if I wasn't such a sperg maybe I would ask her out and it would come out that she also is as moronic as me and we would start living together, watching movies, reading books, having sex after sweaty gym sessions. Maybe I would finally start talking with someone irl instead of making up scenarios in my head every night

As a free and arian individual, I will no longer tolerate indignation from a society that is degenerate, promiscuous and immoral. They will no longer tell me: you need to have this and this diploma, because even though we tolerate homosexual homosexuals and call it marriage, we still also value education. The next time I require knowledge, I will buy a book and study it myself, and execute the plan in the way I think it best. Off for the determination of some mathematical and physical data.

They probably won't have you because you're a disruptive dweeb. There was guy like that in one of my classes, he would always try to make every discussion into debate, and he would never back down no matter how irrelevant it became to the actual topic. One day another student totally destroyed him and he ran out of class crying. Everyone clapped, it was really funny.

I would show up to high school class, freshly showered, freshly dressed in clean clothes, a hair styled like it was done by a professional barbier, take out my class materials, paper untouched by the pen as it should be, listen to every word from the teacher, take notes, not disturb anyone, not say a word unless the teacher asked me, take out something smart to say, learn for the test, do everything, and all I heard afterwards: "uhm you know mister so and so, we find you're a lazy lad and that you've just been letting go too much during the last few months. We ask you politely to get the frick out of here without a diploma, but don't forget this wiping toilet paper I mean your semestrial marks, we made it extra shitty so you don't come back here. Excuse me now, I have a big fat douche to drop, no time for questions. Have a nice summer holidays."

I think maybe a good thing about having done something awful is you can relate to other people who have done something awful. No one wants to be a bad guy. It's probably helpful being able to have empathy that this is what someones path turned into.
