no shit, that's what i have been trying for half an hour...
i just wanna turn it off because it's flashing for no goddamn reason, i pressed the power button and now it's stuck flashing

Gently push down the tab at the bottom of the slot so that it doesn't latch onto the other part of the cover. Then slide the battery cover down with your finger using the textured bit just below the slot. The tab you're pressing down while doing the slide will probably move with the cover (but doesn't have to; there are two possible configurations so I'm guessing which one it is).
It shouldn't take a lot of force; it needs to be openable by literal boomers.

yeah that's what i have been trying but it wont move , even when pressing down in the slot hard or gentle with a tool and trying to slide down it wont budge
so it's probably broken
