aren't all three of these things turned on by default on every single browser now days?
this isn't even impressive. its bare minimum

You can turn things on like letterbox for web content to prevent your monitor resolution from being reported, and other things like random useragents and random timezone garbage.
Fingerprint prevention is a waste of time.

if you arent using a shitty browser your fingerprint should change everytime you restart your browser, this test isn't really accurate. i think mullvads browser out of the box probably has the best fingerprint protection, i had to configure librewolf to get the same results

Brave is the easiest to track browser. Tor has multiple times written lengthy articles why a) randomizing fingerprint cannot make you private and b) why anything based on Chrom* cannot ever fake its fingerprint properly (whether randomizing or trying to look all the same)

so that's why yandex browser was chromium based. they needed their poz to be able to mitm your traffic with their face ca cert

Mullvad and LibreWolf are good because specifically their fingerprint never changes. That's why they explicitly suggest not to install add-ons because every installed extension can have an influence over your fingerprint.

That is why browsers like Brave are just meme gamer slop

        librewolf's user agent marked me

        User Agent
        Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:120.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/120.0

        What is this?

A web header that relays information to the web server about your browser and its version.
How is this used in your fingerprint?

This information can be very specific. If customized can single-handedly identify a specific user’s browser.
        Bits of identifying information: 11.6
One in x browsers have this value: 3105.98

    https://abrahamjuliot.github.io/creepjs/

For Linux the only browsers to pass this are Tor and it's derivatives (Mullvad and LibreWolf). Some of the commonly given suggestions (Brave) fails miserably. For macos it is roughly the same.

If you are on Windows then you have other problems to worry about.

any browser with fixed window size is annoying to use. it basically make tiling wms incompatible because your browser will be blocking any space that could be used for tiling so either you have to use workspaces or stacking wm
