if you read the comments you will see bots from Google that praise the announced ! is so obvious that Youtube use fake views and bots to comments in their videos to manipulate algorithm

      >so obvious that Youtube use fake views and bots to comments in their videos to manipulate algorithm
Off the top of my head, the video when they announced that they were removing downvotes was one of the most downvoted videos in history. A couple of years before, when they changed the algorithm so "my subscriptions" only showed "selected" subscriptions instead of the accounts you actually followed, the video had an overwhelmingly negative response too.
Every announcement they make usually means that they're making the site worse for everyone, and the reactions have been historically negative. I'm not surprised they gave up and just completely removed real feedback and substituted it with bots. Knowing how Google works, it probably isn't even a matter of public image, they do it for themselves, having bots praising the latest moronic change means that Rob, TeamYouTube won't have to read negative comments, so the poor sheltered golem won't suffer from PTSD.

I would love it if youtube offered a ad reserve system where I can watch hundreds of ads for a few hours so that I can get an ad free experience for the next few weeks

    Revanced user.
A few minutes ago, the ability to like videos broke for me until I unliked a random video and then it worked again. About a minute and a half ago, my subscription feed stopped working, as has my ability to see my own playlists.

even youtube for collecting data when using gmail account and using the browser Google Chrome they make 5x times more money by selling your data to companies!
Youtube is making money even without ads !
they dont pay content creators all money they manipulate views and subscribers so that all money go to Google !if you study the monopoly from Google you will understant that Google own everything so that mean Youtube is not dying they just want more money ! even if you watch youtube without google account they still make money from your by collecting data from you tracking your cookies etc they dont respect your privacy

You can fight this by installing Firefox or it's fork. If you need profile sync, you can install open source Firefox Sync server locally. Use uBlock Origin, Individious instance + mpv for comfy watching. aria2c to force buffering if needed.

Stop with the midroll ads and I might consider no longer blocking ads.

      Anonymous

      >stop midroll
@ ads before the 5 minute video starts, 2 more after just 1min, then 2 more after 3 min, then 2 more after the video ends. Total ad time: 10 mins if you are lucky.
When I used the Youtube app on a PS4(1st gen), I once got a 4 hour long ad which was a movie about something stupid, and this was before my video even began playing.

Perfect. Thank you Youtube for forcing me into getting round to this.

Anyone else get a corrupted login cookie leading to the site being unusable due to 400 bad request? I need to go to privacy settings to delete the youtube.com cookie at worst a couple of times a day.
Running Firefox, with UBO is disabled since I have Youtube Premium.
