Windows paths are messy due of CMD's parsing being unnecessary complex, you always shoud triple check whenever you're using them right. Next time, use a tool like iObit unlocker or Nircmd's sdelete instead. Why didn't you backup any of it anyways? 15GBs off any free hosting service should've been enough for a few thousand memes.

I recovered most of the password text files but I kept a lot of screenshots and documents for my job in folders in my desktop and they are all gone.

there are programs that can recover deleted files, they are pretty consistent as long as you don't save or download anything afterwards*

You can also use recovery software like linus tech tips used in his most recent video. I think he used systemrescueCD in his 10 weird versions of linux video.
i would also highly recommend systemrescuecd for any repair/recovery application

- ships with an optional xfce4 desktop with firefox available
- fairly small image still, doesn't quite fit on a cd anymore, but i don't think many people need a cd nowadays anyway
