That Black person was very recalcitrant
OP trying to do his 7th grade english vocabulary homework
Accutane is prescribed for recalcitrant acne.
It’s so funny being French and seeing angloids and their slaves think they’re big boys for using words you use every day
I'm French and nobody says this word for everyday use. You probably aren't French. You probably just think you're smart for knowing the word is French in origin.
Récalcitrant est un mot de tous les jours, c’est pas particulièrement soutenu.
Ensuite tous le monde peut voir ou deviner que le mot est d’origine française, ça démontre aucune intelligence particulière, encore plus si t’es français donc ton raisonnement n’a aucun sens.
I'm also French and I like to watch my wife being fricked by a huge BBC
I'm also French. We say obstiné instead of récalcitrant, and nobody says obstiné everyday.
Ces deux mots n’ont pas exactement le même sens
I seriously doubt you’re french lol
Obstiné= who wants to do something at any cost
Recalcitrant = who doesn’t want to do something
Stop pretending to belong to another nationality, you’re clearly not smart enough to pull it off
See
"not wanting to do something at any cost is different than wanting to do something at any cost"
Thanks for your concession of being a moron.
Yes..? It literally is that’s why there are two words for it? Are you unironically braindead?
Recalcitrant implies a refusal of something, obstiné doesn’t. You can’t use those words interchangeably, learn2french moron
Obstinate in his refusal.
Refuted.
Don't tell me you're one of those "economy" of words morons.
Obstinate in his refusal has a meaning close to recalcitrant, yeah.
And if you replace obstinate by recalcitrant in your example, it becomes a double negation and loses it’s meaning, proving that these two words have different meaning and can’t be used interchangeably.
Débilos
Je pense honnetement entendre 'récalcitrant' au moins une fois par mois, sans compter le fait que tous le monde ayant grandi en lisant des BD considere le mot comme faisant partie du vocabulaire standard.
Spece de parigot de merde
I'm French. Nobody says récalcitrant or obstiné. Those are words moronic "bouseux" use. Normal people say entêté or têtu. I have no idea what these moron "bouseux" are talking about other than their moronic "péquenaud" ways that maybe 1% of the country adheres to.
These guys are a bouseux arriérés. Don't listen to them.
Plus parisien que toi mohammed
Ne t'en fais pas, leurs paroles ne sont que du fumier stérile.
The most recent time I used it on IQfy:

I am Italian and we say both ostinato and recalcitrante.
We also use both in French, but moron-anon is hellbent on claiming that people only use obstinate and not recalcitrant
I don't know what the word 'recalcitrant' means.
